Im with you 100%. If he puts in a 75% of March season on the whole i won’t be shocked. Maybe not even surprised necessarily. Unexpected sure but we know he can do it in stretches.

Ya year 4 is where kpj first showed he belongs on an nba roster. All metrics favor jalen to kpj though in each of their 1st 3 seasons

yes the guy who thinks Jalen Green has performed at a 6/7 level out of 10 relative to draft position is the measured one lol.

you probably think Sengun is a 5

Jalen has caught up to year four KPJ ball handling skills.

The only thing right now year four KPJ would be better at is consistent shooting.

Ya, shooting is huge. For jalen to be a legit max player he has to be a very good shooter, otherwise what value is he bringing?

so Jalen puts in the same 6/7 pre trade deadline season as he has the first 3 years and Stone wants to trade him at the deadline what do you think he gets back?

I think Sengun is a 10 at his draft position. I sincerely think due to your immense hatred you don't know my stance with guys like Sengun compared to Green.

Scroll up a few posts and you'd literally see me say that Sengun more likely will have a better career than Jalen.

If Ant Edwards is a 9 in his first three years with your scaling than yes 6-7 is very reasonable for Green. I frankly wouldn't have the gap between Luka and Ant at least in their first three seasons be the difference between 9 and 10. Luka's first two years are way ahead of Ant's first two years and by a wide margin.

Ant and Green's first two seasons are much closer together than the difference between Luka and Ant's first two years.

He’s also never come close to KPJs assist %. And until this year hasn’t come close to his rebound % and imo was a worse defender until this year.

but even with that you’re 100% right the scoring efficiency is the major issue with the scoring high usage high volume guard.

I'm surprised Sengun and Barnes are getting any votes at all.

He explained himself and is capable of acknowledging some promise with Green and hasn't called dim "trash"

He never came close to KPJs assist #s b/c he never had to roleplay as the pg? Like im pretty sure if green had to b forced to play pg, he would b able to get more assists than kpj as pg. Green's weakness was never failing to make the right pass like kpj, it's being efficient at scoring.

Also we have FVV and sengun, plus reed so Green's assist% isnt going to increase

Lol, guy who thinks JG has been a 3/10 is a hater. Guy who thinks JG has been a 2/10 is not a hater because he thinks he was better than KPJ at least.

Speaking of trash, your logic is trash lol

    Hard disagree.

If they thought Jalen was capable of "running point" they would have had him do that much more. KPJ isnt exactly a real PG either (as you note, he struggled there at times, too).

There was a point in Jalen's rookie year where i not only thought maybe he should run point i think i made a thread about it - was trying to figure out ways to make him suck less.

After 3 years to me, it's clear it wasn't a good idea. Even today he's still a one level passer, and in that mainly as a solid PnR passer to the big.

pfffffft. Who's they? Silas? the same man who thought sengun should b benched?

Kpj was handed the keys to b point guard even though he sucked at it. Silas wanted to make the whole system revolved around the kpj as the pg.

I do not want green to b pg, but he has shown time and time again to b a team player and make the right passes something kpj can't do. If u disagree with it sure.

you think JG is more than a one level passer. I’m sure it’s happened but I can’t remember a single time he drove down one side of the lane and passed to the opposite side corner for example. It’s hard to even remember him driving and kicking out at all much less making the second or third reads.

he’s a much improved one level passer though.

No i think Green is a better passer than Kpj, full stop. Green's assist number is lower than KPJ not because he's an inferior passer it's because he was not forced to role play as a pg like KPJ who's assist number got inflated. Green now has fvv, sengun and reed to make the passes so his assist numbers will not surpass KPJ the psuedo pg.
