Projection is when a Jalen Stan like the one I was replying to comes into a Sengun thread to try to stir sht up and then you pretend that’s what Sengun fans do.
I'm very confident there are many very enthused Sengun fans who dedicated a lot of time on the socials trashing Green. And you are the one who insulted Green out of nowhere in a Sengun thread and I just replied to it. That poster you replied to might have done something I disagree with in putting Sengun down but he didn't involve Jalen Green. You did.
So your problem is not with stans trashing another player but specifically Sengun stans putting down Green. You spend countless hours to argue with the posters who do that against Green, but when a green stan does exactly the same thing (actually most of the posts against green are not trolling attempts but actual criticisms), you pretend that it is just an opinion and you might not agree with it but it's okay.
I actually know what actual criticisms are and what looks like when people made predictions three years ago and are on a mission to prove they are right. No one brought up Green here besides the person b****ing about being up Green in this thread with @CXbby He brought up Green in a Sengun thread. Not me.
And my post was not about @CXbby . His behavior being right or wrong has nothing to do with my post. My post is about the original post, how it is a trolling, and how you ignore it as just an opinion that you might not agree with, rather than putting it in the same bundle with trolling and hating against Green, because it is not about Green and it is done by a Green Stan.
I ignored a negative comment about Sengun? Okay? I'm not here to defend Sengun. The opinion of him is rather highly regarded in this forum and league wide. Why do you think it's hypocrisy that I didn't defen Sengun in a negative Sengun comment? It's very simple. I believe the gulf between the discourse of a player and his actual potential next season is the biggest with Jalen on this forum and I don't like it and I'll keep on expressing people's double standards when they hyper focus on Jalen.
Again, I do not expect you to defend Sengun. I expect you to identify the post as a trolling and hating , not pretending it is a standard normal post. Because you identify those kind of posts whenever they are about Green and call them out. That's what @CXbby did, and his answer is rather bashing the poster not Green IMO.
To be clear I like Sengun. And as of right now he has the higher likelihood of having a better career than Jalen than the other way around. But I'm tired of people pretending like there isn't an army of Sengun fanatics on socials spamming anti-Jalen propaganda as if it's their life long mission. And I have a sneaking suspicion that it might have to do with Jalen outside of Sengun is the best on ball dynamic creator we have out of the "core 7" so there is overlap in needing the ball in the hands while all the other guys of the core 7 aren't as much of a threat in taking the ball out of Sengun's hands most of the time compared to Jalen. Jalen is the biggest threat of the core 7 to not have a heliocentric offense around Sengun.l and anymore diversified one because their is a dynamic on ball perimeter guy.
I dont think there are many fans who hate Sengun the way the Jaters have it in for Jalen. I ran into that poll and was surprised at the results. The "whatabout" to placate the insecurity that not everyone see's Alpi as some transcendent player is usually where these talks stall out. You can only run so much pick and roll right? I like what Stone has done overall though. The assortment of talent he has put together allows this team to play any style or pace (for the most part). Players have good chemistry with one another and these factions will be broken by sheer attrition towards the end of next season.
Why? The Rockets didn't have much time on national TV last season, and they didn't make the playoffs. People wouldn't have seen him play much.

What is Jalen Green "hate propaganda"? He's been awful. And undoubtedly the army of Sengun stans on twitters, etc. would love the f out of him if he was awesome, as Sengun needs that since it would help his game and numbers as well.
How about slightly below expectations? When are drafted at 19 as a high usage guard and end up at age 21 on all time top ten lists for things like scoring average before turning 22 and your team is trash you are what most people should expect from a highly talented guard asked to do too much right away. Awful and slightly below expectations are two different things. And this is why you are a hater. There is no measured concern. It's just he's either Weisman or Ja Morant. What you did here is normal hater behavior. No ability to have measured sincere criticism.
Taking out the Turkish fans. I think the people that pump up Sengun the most skew conservative. You gotta stan for the players that have less melanin and all! Typically for example the isreal and Palestine conflict guess which side ATW is on? Not the side with darker skin. Who is one of the biggest Reed draft guys on the board ATW again. I bet you could find several posts about how smart Sengun and Reed are by aroundtheworld on this very message board.
