Says something that with all pitchers available to start, Hunter Brown is the one they give the opening slot to. We really need some of these arms to get back (or to bring some in) because Blanco is already about to pass his career high workload.
Listen. T-Mobile Park is sold out this weekend. We’re playing the Astros. This stadium, that staff, they’re not used to a full house. They can’t kick us all out. All I’m saying is, make the Astros miserable. Be ruthless. Push the limit. No one’s gonna stop you. Let ‘em know.
Not loving the West coast start time, but hey I think we got a WLW for the series and Astros go to first.
This. I know the Astros have already played a lot of big series because they put themselves in like a 7-8 game hole after the first 2 weeks of the season - but this series is really important. A sweep by either team will likely carry over for awhile. Also, a sweep may help push the Rangers further back. Really both the M's and Astros should be trying to strangle the Rangers so they don't just linger. Right now the Rangers are 7-3 in their last 10 and only 5 out.
