Did you ever see the "spiritual sequel" to Dazed and Confused: Everybody Wants Some? He was very fun in that.
Only because it was about SHSU baseball. I was FURIOUS when I found taht NONE of it was filmed in Huntsville, but they filmed in San ****ING Marcos!!! REALLY, Rich?!?! You couldn't have taken a couple of days and at least filmed the "Jolly Fox" scenes AT the ACTUAL Jolly Fox? It's still there fer Christ's sake!
I’m curious how this will do in the Houston market? Yeah a hurricane is different from a tornado but will some residents have ptsd? Am I a soyboy for not going to see this rather wait till streaming in my underoos?
the original came out before i existed, is it on netflix? what is the point of a storm/tornado chaser? does it offer scientific benefits? what does neil the grass tyson have to say about it?
The original is streaming on Max for anyone who's interested. Rewatched it the other weekend, its a dumb but fun disaster flick looking for the same thing with this one.....
The trailer seems to promise almost a remake, but with better special effects: Twister: The Force Awakens? I was 27 or so when the original was released. Ah, the heady days of youth. I saw "Twister" in the theater and, later, someone rented it and watching it again on a much smaller screen was very different. Take away the spectacle and you have something suited for "Mystery Science Theater" (now long since replaced by hundreds of YouTube "reaction" videos). For example, at the end of the movie: "Give me a break. How'd the horses survive? Did they also tie themselves with a belt to the piping? 'WHIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNY. WHIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNY'."
