I know it's only summer league. I wonder how those saying he's a tier above all and we should trade up for him feeling now.

 

I dunno who said that but that’s an insane thing to say. Have these people actually like watched a game Sarr played in or only looked at footages of drills? He doesn’t know how to play basketball.

Well our own second year player went 1-15 last night. He could still be a bust. Or he could turn it around with proper coaching and training. Too early to say.

 

I’ve never seen a center do this. Like Cam alright you had a bad shooting night. Sarr go get a fking putback or a dunk or something. How is being 7’1 a benefit if you can’t do that. Oh I forgot he’s soft as charmin and has no motor for that. You can’t teach heart.

Sarr looks like a poor man's Wemby, tall dude who wants to play like a guard.

I can see why people thought he had a high ceiling. He has great handles and agility for his size.

Something about these tall frenchies that don't like banging down low. They need a mom like Stacey Sheppard.

 

Sarr on a 4 on 1 fast break pulls up for 3 and bricks just about sums his summer league experience.

 

I counted 2 shots at the rim, with one of those being a tip rebound. For as much as we call out the 3s, the big man floaters are equally egregious. Roll to the rim, none of these drives where he can't beat his man work out.

 

Did the usual suspects call for trading Sengun for Sarr? Pretty sure they did.

 

Yes. They did. So silly. I think Sarr will end up being pretty good, but he was way oversold. I get flamed over and over for it, but I will be here to collect the tolls on Wemby. He is not nearly as great as people think.

 

For Rockets, it was basically Sheppard or nothing. They said if he wasn't there at #3 they were trading out of the draft. That's STRONG!
