Give me a healthy season with this rotation

    VV, JG, DB, JS, AS
    RS, CW, AT, TE, SA

With glue guys like GREEN, Holiday, Jock, Tate and the rest... I'm good with that.

    Jabari ain’t no dawg.

No one on this roster gets called out for physicality more than Jabari Smith. Put Adams in there.

Just realized that none of the 7 are good enough for max contracts. We should be able to keep all 7 for a decade at least. Especially with us getting the #14-#17 pick every year, no competition.

I don't disagree with you, but I'm wondering why you elevate the OKC big 3 but discount the Celtics big 2? It seems to me we would do well if 2 or 3 of our guys realized their potential the way Tatum and Brown have or SGA on OKC. Which was Harold Bingo's point I think.

This will be the 2nd year in a row the Celtics are over the 2nd apron and this coming year, I read they will pay over $200M in tax penalties alone. Thus, I very much doubt they hold this team together much beyond this coming year. And as for the Rockets, I am pretty sure Tilman is not ever going to pay those kind of tax penalties. So the Celtics model isnt a very good one for the Rockets to try and follow.

The Celtics model didn't reach its peak until Brown was already 27 with a lot of guys older/similar age as rotation players. If the Rockets have 2-3 players improve like Tatum/Brown did, they will be a deep and talented team when Sengun is much younger than 27 such that the Rockets best guys will be capped at 25% of the cap instead of 35%.

If the Rockets get a guy to jump into the Top 10 category of players, they are going to have an incredibly strong team for a while.

I'm more excited to see the growth of Amen for the 2-3 years...Im still not sold on Jalen Green, Jabari needs to make a jump in his one on one offense mid-range or in the pain otherwise he'll make a great piece in a future trade package

Is it? Maybe for Tatum. Sengun looks like a good bet to be in the Brown level of player. Only would need one guy out of the six others to make it.

Rockets need a Magnificent 7 promo for next year or maybe a Seven Samurai?

Need more than that to win a title. 24 Celtic are an exception that happens only like once every 20 years. One of these guys has to become a guy who will win an MVP award.

Tatum is not a traditional 1A on a contender. He is a perennial top 10 talent, not top 5 first team level talent.

The Celtics broke the mold of the past two decades with winning on just a really deep roster. Nothing about Tatum is generational. He's just really good at everything. Jack of all trades.

Their championship is.the lost similar to how the Pistons won theirs in the 2000s

I know. That was my point. A team without an S Tier bonafide MVP guy only wins once every 20 years or so. And with the new luxury tax apron, that model will become even harder.
