I start 2 RB's in my league..... Here is the nightmare I am looking at this weekend... Edgerrin James - will get 1/2 the carries since he practiced Friday. Dominic Rhodes - will get the other 1/2 of the carries (I have both RB's) Duce Staley - against a stellar Miami D that ate Rudi Johnson's lunch last week Rudi Johnson - against Baltimore D - nuff said. Im completely freaking out...... I cant go 0-3, I cant go 0-3, I cant go 0-3
Call me crazy, but you could make a case for starting Edge and Rhodes. The GB run defense took a big hit with Grady Jackson getting hurt in week 1 vs. Carolina. Obviously, Rudi won't play well vs. B-more, and I guess it depends on how you feel Duce will play vs. a stingy Miami D and the lingering hurricane conditions. I know Miami has suffered some injuries on the D-line recently, so I can see how Duce would be a good option as well. Anyway, just throwing the notion of starting both Colts RB's out there. Usually I don't recommend something like that, but under certain circumstances it can work.

Green Bay has a lot of injuries in their secondary, and playing in Indy means Harrison and Wayne will tear it up. Basically, Indy should be able to do what it wants on offense. Don't expect a good game from Rudi. Miami's D is good, but they also allowed 100 yards to Chris Brown on 16 carries ... in the first half. Then again, Duce will do good enough to let Bettis get the goalline TDs. In playing on a wet and windy field, I expect a lot of running plays. That being said, I expect a shoot out in the Packers/Colts game and would probably start James and Rhodes. While Duce may have a good game, each Indy RB has potential of putting up great numbers seperately or even together, so why risk your RB spot on Rudi vs Baltimore and Duce in a hurricane?
