Which disrespect? The criticism of his rookie year, sophomore year, dunk contest, grooming stuff or third year?
They're straight up making up bullshit now, the cracks are showing in their certainty that Jalen's done with the team and definitely being traded. Expect nothing but non-basketball related character assassinations for the foreseeable future.
Maybe he is talking about Josh disrespecting his butthole. Real talk though, Daddy Udoka might have him R2G for this season. Poor guy has had a weird road on and off the court. All reports suggest that he works his tail off in the gym.
This individual stat does not bother me at all. I say this as someone who is definitely NOT a Jalen lover. There are a lot more important things about him we'll put under the microscope when the season starts.
I'm surprised it was only 108, it seemed to happen multiple times every game where he'd get blocked at the rim. Of course the bigger issue is that he can't shoot a basketball
Its apart of basketball, correct? You drive to the basket, your shot is probably going to get blocked or you're going to get fouled.
I've supported Green. Still have hope for him coming into this season. If he becomes a consistent basketball player on both ends it would boost the teams chances of becoming a real contender. 6 of 7 core picks seem to very serious about basketball, hard workers, willing to do what it takes to win. Sadly this is the one trait that I just haven't seen from Jalen. Yet. My hope for Jalen becoming a max type of player was based on the hope that Ime and the new staff could mold him or drive him into being his best self. That's still my hope. I actually saw improvements in his defense and his finishing abilities inside and playmaking. So I'll give him the benefit of the doubt to start the season. But also very ready to join the "trade Jalen" crowd if there is anymore BS to start this season.
It’s because he got benched around 3rd quart because Ime had enough of him. If he played full game he would be on top
ATTENTION RAFA There is no reason to put up with Jalen Green's inefficient offense, inconsistent play, and lack of defense now that Cam Whitmore and Reed Sheppard are ready to play. Green needs to be moved very soon while he still retains value on the market.
Yes because summer league is a guarantee that somebody's going to be a star player? Let's examine: Jabari Smith 22-23 Summer league stats: 35.5ppg 7 rpg 4apg MEGASTAR! How about we wait until the season first, as of right now neither Cam nor Reed has ever had anything resembling a star performance in the NBA. Jalen Green has more than everybody else we've drafted combined. You're getting WAY ahead of yourself on that confirmation bias bullshit.
You either have an eye for talent, or you do not. Seeing well-rounded talent in Cam and Reed is easy. We've watched Jalen Green for three years and it's just not there. I wish it was... but it's not. Better to move on as compared to doubling down on something that's just not working. Also -- psychologically, Green is a mess -- not helpful.
