ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Wizards - Vegas Summer League 7/14/2024

Honestly, i had been playing with trades involving Brooks and FVV.

Reed needs to be fast tracked with his development.

 

This kid is unbelievable

 

Goodness...glad we didn't screw up on pick #3

 

Sheppard and Whitmore are about to be put on ice for the rest of summer league.

It was a treat, gentlemen.

 

I don't mind Cam being selfish this game as this is probably his last summer league game.
Reed to our team is a win-win as he still need time to learn how to create separations and Sengun and FVV will make it easy for Reed.
N. Williams is still the most impressive two-way on our team and he played under control. That Klay corner shot was really encouraging.
Griffin's game is still too raw. Robinson looked good but his ceiling is very limited.
Our scrubs played better than the Washington's scrubs that's why we had the lead.
Sarr's consective 2nd game got killed on the boards by scrubs. Honestly Wizards pairing him with JV is a good decision, but Sarr won't get Wizards anywhere. He can keep his team in the game, yet he can't blow team away. It's a boring 2nd pick.
By the way, the commentors on this game are so much better than last game as I don't have to listen to them talking about Bonny every few seconds. ALso, the interviews are shorter which makes it easier to enjoy the game.

 

Reed once again the best player on the court by a decisive margin. That's saying a lot with Whitmore playing.

 

Got to suck having the No. 2 overall pick/ROY favorite, flanked by another lottery pick, a 3rd FRP, and 3rd year player that was a lottery pick to be completely outclassed.

Yeah, man…He seems to have that it factor. Knows when he needs to be impactful and can turn it on. Love it.

 

Reed should have gone #1, MJ went #3... Just saying

 

Reed and Cam both have 4 steals, Reed is gonna fit right in on the Goon Squad.

I put $20 on Reed Sheppard winning ROY yesterday at +800.

Wish i would have done more, because before game 1 of summer league he was +1000, and after this game im curious were it jumps to.

Hes gonna be a contributor immediately.
