political violence should be universally condemned, and for the most part we are seeing that today. there are plenty of a**holes out there who are bizarrely cheering this on or making jokes about it, but i have not seen any democrat leaders doing that. but we have case after case of trump, republicans and right wingers on here advocating for violence and mocking those who are victims of it. i have yet to see a single democrat politician engage in the kind of talk we saw after paul pelosi was attacked. trump went after him and nancy after the attack. he mocked the governor of michigan after the kidnapping plot against her was uncovered. he praised the politician who body slammed a reporter as a tough guy. time after time trump has advocated for or praised violent acts. january 6th anyone? right wingers here seem to be really excited about using this as an opportunity to go after those they dont like and this incident will only make it more likely should trump win. trump remains a threat to democracy...this doesnt change that and if anything makes it more likely that he is going to really go after all of his "enemies".

Then the holier than thou attitude of a typical Christian who practices few if any of Christs teachings. Very constructive. It came out yesterday he registered as a republican in 2021 in PA right before the highly contested oz/Fetterman race. the fact he donated to actblue means he likely registered as a republican (PA is a closed primary state) to go against oz and eventually trump. It isn't known if he voted in the 2024 PA primaries
It really is amazing he lived, even a quarter inch difference and he likely is dead. All it took was him not moving his head quite as much or not moving his head at all. All of the chaos surrounding everyone in this country really isn’t good. We have another very young person attempting to kill people in a public place - seems to be too common now. I worry about all of this and am equally worried about what our response will be.
But here’s a problem. Why are you comparing people from J-6 who rioted and didn’t hurt anyone(or have that intent) to someone who killed a father, shot a mom, and almost murdered a president?
