It is a very bad incident. Violence has no place in politics. This is the main reason both sides should dial down on the rhetoric!!!

We're surprised that a group that was allowed to burn and loot cities, set up "no go" zones by threatening violence, all with the tacit support of leftist politicians got violent on Trump?
I fear this may lead to further cognitive decline - is he up to the task- it pains me to say it but... ... Trump should take the weekend to consider with his family whether or not he wants to stay in the race.
They’ve been trying to end him politically, legally and every other way for a while. I don’t support trumps policies or him but it’s kind of crazy to try and prosecute someone for 8 years straight

I was literally on the front lines of that. I also saw first hand people tear gassed and shot with rubber bullets. Yes the political leaders made big mistakes but in Minneapolis but they weren't allowed to burn and loot with the support of politicians. For that matter many of those in Minneapolis weren't ANTIFA but also including Boogaloo Boys and other Right Wing groups looking to forment violence. There were also many who came from out of town with no political leanings who came in just to loot.
They only people who don't realize Trump's autocratic aspirations are his fervent followers. Or they just don't care.
