Someone needs to break it to her that her dress and her mask are more dangerous to her than long Covid. Another lefty looney.

I forgot about her story. Pretty tragic.

COVID-19 evolves again: now with a delightful bonus of bowel evisceration

Gizmodo recently reported on an article by a team of doctors/researchers from the Department of Surgery, University of Illinois at Chicago, published in the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery. The journal article, entitled "Spontaneous Abdominal Evisceration due to COVID-19," details the case of a woman who contracted COVID-19 after previous abdominal surgeries and whose COVID-19-induced cough caused fascial dehiscence (separation of the sutured abdominal wall after surgery) and evisceration (disembowelment). Or, as Gizmodo so bluntly puts it, the patient's "COVID-induced cough caused her guts to spill out from an old surgical site."

The incontrovertible data is there that masks help tremendously, with all airborne diseases.

As for looneys...you know your own kind.

I don't see anything about childhood obesity in this article. Covid is the disease that has exacerbated all unhealthy lifestyle-related issues associated with poor health. Not surprising if it increases the incidence of diabetes in unhealthy children.

Type 1 Diabetes has nothing to do with obesity. You're thinking if type 2 diabetes which is over 90% of diabetes cases. But many have long believed diabetes is essentially man-made due to lifestyle and food.

Ah, my mistake. I admit I lump them together. I did a little search and it can still be controlled by a healthy diet. Thank you for educating me.
