Reed Sheppard is the Rockets’ Franchise Player™

Jalen Green was pretty good, too, in his first two games before getting injured. He went against Mobley in Gm 1 and Cade in Gm2 and was better than both... This was probably the high point of his career... Of course, nowhere close to his namesake Donte or the other immortals in the Rockets SL pantheon, like Dan Langhi or JLIII....

 

Best player since Tmac.

 

Fellas, Reed still knows how to shoot. We’re not cursed after all!

Only summer league, only one game, and all the usual disclaimers but very nice first game from our boy

 

So much for that bullsh!t about not being able to create for himself.

 

Modern players get better, they have so many players to model their game after today.

 

His ballhandling looked noticeably better than what I saw in March Madness just a few months ago IMO. Good sign that he's already improving. That said, let's see him do it in a larger sample size & against NBA defenders before we get too wild with it

 

It's Vegas. Wait till he plays in Houston.

 

If he gets to double dribble in real games we are in business.

 

Reed will have a long NBA career.

 

Why was it that only Jabari and Amen were excited about the dunk?

 

Why does he have mud all over his shoes? Get him a clean pair stat.

 

I know it's SL but it appears some are rooting for Reed to fail.

The top three players drafted looked good tonight. I think some of the analysts who said this is an awful draft may end up with egg on their faces.
