Since April 27: 5.16 runs per game (would easily lead the majors) ERA 2.59 Hader 2.42 Pressly 2.20 Abreu 43-25 record (102 win pace)
Assuming we make the playoffs and assuming Verlander is healthy Is this pitching capable of leading us to a title? Verlander, Blanco, Brown, Framber Abreu, Pressly, & Hader? What's the lineup? Altuve, Bregs, Alvarez, Tucker, Diaz, Pena, Meyers, Singleton, Chas???
I'm 54 and I do know this but Vitto Bratta was a shredder, dude was a great guitarist, but thats all I know about them.
We need another starter. I personally like Fedde or Quantrill. We need at least one solid late inning relief pitcher. Maybe another middle relief. The batting is fine. We don't need a bat, although I'm sure they'll consider adding a veteran bat at 1B for insurance. Think of a move like 2022's Trey Mancini.
Red Sox lost. Astros are just 1 1/2 behind Boston and KC for the last WC spot. Twins losing 3-0. We could be only 3 behind them. Seattle just got tied up 4-4, 5th inning.
It’s ok to know of shitty bands of your youth. It doesn’t take away your cool guy badge. At that time, hairbands were huge. Did we actually like any of them? No. We had to go back to Zep, floyd, Yes, Rush, Tull etc to find cool music. The late 80’s and very early 90’s were horrible for mainstream rock n roll.
Nobody in the major leagues is averaging 5 runs per game. I would like to know the last time that's happened. Research says 2014 when the Angels led the league with 4.72 runs per game. In 2022 only the Dodgers averaged 5 runs per game.
The only hair band I could even tolerate was Whitesnake, but that's because of Mr. Coverdale's insane vocals.
