I would be open to trading anyone on the team. Sengun too. But I am having a hard time imagining what kind of return would satisfy me.

Ohh and Bassey was waived by Spurs recently. Too bad the guy can't stay healthy.

If we’re trading Sengun, it better be towards a top 5 player OR a top 15 player who is under 27 or so. No deal for a return like Julius Randle and picks.

At this stage, what is the nucleus exactly?

Jalen? A shooting guard who shoots and defends poorly most of the time and has questionable basketball IQ?

Jabari? A PF who plays small, only rebounds well when Şengün is in the game and offers nothing but a stiff jump shot and decent perimeter defense?

Amen? A point forward who has no shooting at all and may not have the handles yet to be the primary ball handler, and whose best minutes were in the dunker spot.

Cam? A 19 year old wing who can score but is a long way from being a reliable offensive creator or even a below average team defender?

    Dylan Brooks? lol

FVV? A small PG who played well with Alpi but is just as likely to sign elsewhere in 1 or 2 years?

Tari? A defending wing who has a capable three but almost no touch at the rim more often than not?

Reed? The guy who hasn’t played yet?

My thoughts above are probably overly harsh but I’m trying to envision how a rim running big is going to better compliment or elevate any of these guys’ games. I hope the front office isn’t so stupid to sell Şengün while his value is rising. But if they are, then I really think they should really evaluate their other players accurately in what they’ve actually done versus betting on their potential enough to trade their best player.

Just kidding. Relax SOFs Burt is never right.

More importantly good vibes to anyone who is still dealing with power outages and lasting damage from Hurricane Beryl. This too shall pass. HOUSTON STRONG - ALWAYS!

I think Ime would rather have more defense at the 5 than what Sengun can offer at the moment. Just my opinion. You can hide and work with inefficient defense more at the 4 in between Jabari and Adams.

Couple more I would probably do

    Sengun+Brooks+Jeff Green+Landale for Adebayo+Herro.

Sengun for Kessler+Lauri M+2025 FRP unprotected

Sengun+Eason+Jalen Green+2027 Suns FRP+2029 Suns FRP for Giannis.

Exactly, this guy's per 36 #s are good. But sometimes the best ability is availability.

This is how I feel too, but the return would have to be literal next level for me to want to trade Alpi. Like if you offer me Giannis (we could just play fast breaks all game and win chips lol) I'd take it, probably Luka, Ant if we were then moving Green, Wemby...I think that's pretty much it for me. If we're not getting a top tier superstar back then it'd have to be a pretty insane/great bunch of roleplayers and picks.

We had a top 10 defense in the league with Sengun, I genuinely don't think we would with Randle/Adams. I actually think we'd be more likely to get better results just moving Sengun to the 4 and playing him with Adams if we wanted to go that route.

I do truly think there is some merit to the idea that it is easiest to build a team defense around a guy that can finish at the rim and erase mistakes. I get it. But I also think that we have multiple players with defensive potential that can help compensate where Sengun does need help. And I truly believe that he can give us an interesting advantage on the offensive end.

But DANNY AINGE, Brandon Miller is better than Sengun is now! So, you want Mark Williams, PLUS Brandon Miller AND a #1??

Danny you drive a hard bargin

I think Stone's already on it from the Sengtard rage during the Silass years, they were very big on their scary signature lists, Ime's probably ok so go right ahead if they make that mistake lol.
