I'm questioning it right now. Wanting the worst player on the Rockets to keep harming the team for another 4-5 years isn't something that a fan of the team would wish for.

Credibility is something needed when doing something of that measure.

You fail to have that here, your loyalty falls in with whatever player YOU deem the right pick for our organization and if it's not your way that player is immediately the enemy from that day moving forward.

So much so that you and DD feel it necessary to pit other current Rockets (KPJ first and now Cam) against that Rockets player. You do you, as usual, but you're the only one suffering to the extent of having to comment on every single Jalen Green thread posted and for that matter wish and hope that the player would leave rather than hoping for improvement since we invested such a high pick on him.

I'll still enjoy watching my Rockets in peace....

Lol sorry kid but this is confession by projection. You simp for the worst player on the Rockets.... real Rockets fans support the good players and want the worst players gone. My loyalty is always to the team, not ANY individual player... and you can't honestly say the same.

Anyway, thanks for the laugh, you can crawl back under your bridge now.

    Wrong.

Ryan Mallet ring any bells? Yeah, that guy you once favored as a superior QB to Deshaun Watson (the "scrub") of the two. You've always had YOUR darlings, whether it be Texans or Rockets related. I've always supported ALL the players on MY teams, whether they were performing well or not.

You must be looking directly in the mirror when typing this out cause this sounds like a whole lot of reflection going on.

Lol, damn you're dumb.... you really hyping up Watson the rapist?

If I "like" a player, it's because I think they will be good or because they are good AND they are in Houston.

If they turn out to not be good, or no longer play in Houston, I move on to the next player. Blindly supporting dogshit players simply because they are on "your" team is some casual BS. If you really support the team, you won't support terrible players who hurt the team.

Yep, point in case. Your opinion is often deemed superior to those who oppose you... so what left when you have no leg to stand on. Resort to name calling and degrading the person by insults. Cool man, as I said you do you, but at the end of the day when arguing a PLAYER and their on field/court contributions you feel it necessary to denigrate and or demean anyone with an opinion that opposes yours.

Mallet was a useless backup that has struggled in the likes of the AFL. Deshaun, while having his off field issues, is still a starting QB in the NFL. Rapist or not, because we know BobbyTheFail is the judge/jury/and executioner of all here, he is still the superior QB and athlete to your then hero and apparently still now. Who knows, who cares.

Regardless, as stated before, I have no reason to estrange one Rockets player from the next. I just appreciate the growth as it comes.

My opinion IS superior to quite a few because my opinion is actually grounded in fact rather than emotion or feeling.

It's not surprising that the last fan of the rapist Watson would also be a big fan of the draft bust Jalen.

I think the more interesting discussion here is "what does Jalen's next contract look like?"

What does the gamble that Jalen eventually puts it together (within the course of that 2nd contract) cost.

He's still so young and the fix is simple - put the ball in the hole.

I'd probably be willing to take that gamble at MLE money .... but definitely not max money or even close to it.. Essentially an extension of his current contract where the MLE is in the ballpark of the standard 8% raise.

It’s been 4 years. I just don’t see allstar caliber player. Would be nice to keep him as a deadly sixth man though.

Would Jalen Green be better at basketball if he grew up in LA rather than Fresno?

Imo opinion, I feel more confident in Whitmore being a star vs Green. He better not miss any time and Cam gets his shots.

I really liked Cam coming out of college. I think the intangibles are better with Cam vs Green. I would not give Green max money on potential, he better play like a top 30 player if he wants max money. Cam might play his way in the court this year full time.

100%, ALL ROCKET'S PLAYERS should be held in the same regards, not just the ones you feel are preforming best.

I don't understand some of our fans. How can you cheer for the team to do well, when you love some but you hate others?

There may be some players you cheer for more than others but still, you hope the best for all players.

That's natural especially when you see the debate predraft . I said at the time, I would've drafted Mobley, but people were infatuated with highlight dunks especially after trading Harden. This team would be better with Mobley on it vs Green.

Evan Mobley has been a disappointment too, though. He was supposed to have a smooth offensive game and the ability to shoot, I saw pre-draft comparisons to Bosh, KG, and Hakeem. Dude is a lot closer to Nic Claxton or Clint Capela than he is to any of those guys.

I still think these Jalen Green discussions are just overdone. It’s obvious. Jalen just needs to shoot better. Everything else he will improve on I have no doubts. But shooting is tough. If he’s a career 33% 3 point shooter he will never be a starting caliber 2. But if he somehow bumps it up to 38%? He will be a future all star. So that’s what this season comes down to for him. If he’s still a poor shooter, with still no sign of improvement, then you have to consider moving on or benching him. 6th man guys should make no more than 20m a year. 4 years 80mil? Keep him. If not let him leave.

He dones't have elite passing and dribbling skills.
His body shape remain the same as his rookie year, same weak-ass. He will be out of league within 3 years
