Just to be clear, I don't think any single stat is the be-all and end-all.

But when it comes to assessing the performance so far of our young core (not the potential), pretty much any way you look and it and slice it, the picture remains the same.

Someone had asked for this on Twitter, and I have a subscription, so I looked.

Does this mean the Knicks do not see Alpi as a Max contract player? Duren is not a Max contract player.

    It's even worse - Duren isn't even a Knick!

Why is this even posted? The Knicks just traded every asset they have for Bridges. What could they possible trade us that we would want for Alpi? There isn't a single player on their roster I'd trade them Sengun for.

New York and Los Angeles media will force you to believe that they can get any superstar for absolutely nothing.

This is very unfair to Amen. He played PG for us when FVV was out after the break. This is what makes Amen great. He can do whatever you need. I think you look at this totally wrong. Amen literally was so impactful when he played the coaching staff was looking for way to get him on the court. Not to mention it was out of need as Sengun and Tari both being injured left us with nothing much at forward position. It's great that he was able to thrive in that role.

Also he is in the select team and plenty of videos of him playing guard role and driving and creating. No one believes he was bad at his original role but you. He was just forced to do something else.

His greatest talent is his ability to see the floor and make advanced reads, and he hasn’t really been allowed to do it much yet. He has the ability to control tempo, which is a super rare trait.

I think he will force the organization to move on from Fred. You will have to give Amen the ball for 40 minutes a game in the very near future.

Plenty of videos? There were like two plays of him passing it off to Flagg. He wasn't used much as point guard in the he select team scrimmage.

When Fred rested, Jalen was the primary ball handler post ASB. Quite frankly Green was hr primary ball handler even when FVV was on the court post ASB. His usage increased by quite a bit post ASB.

Would have to be a 3 team trade with the Nuggets where we trade Sengun to NY, NY trades whatever trash they want to Denver and Denver sends us Jokic. I'm 100% on board with NY getting Sengun.

Julius Randle is not worth what they think he is.

He’s a thumber. I never noticed that before.

That form is probably helpful for touch on his push-shots, etc, but he can’t have that thumb there for free throws and certainly not threes.

Waiting for the usual crew to suggest an Alpi for Randle trade.
