Survey by Germany's largest tabloid Bild: About half of all Germans now support the Netherlands to win the title.

Are you in Germany? Is there like 10 million Turks living there? They've filled up every stadium

Am from Germany, but now in Florida. Yes, I think 10 million sounds like a good guess. Official numbers are lower, but...

    Oh nice.

I have to say these days many of my friends support Germany when they aren't playing us. The hatred seems to really have become less. It is not like the 70's & 90's. Not spitting anymore.

Once again screwed by the referee, once again against a Spanish side, once again in a lopsided bracket (I'm 100% sure our boys would've defeated any of the other three semi-finalist). ****in' hell...

Even after two days it still hurts a little. Not as much as 2006, but still. Kroos would've deserved a better exit than this sorry excuse of a referee (I knew we were in trouble when I read that an Englishman will call the game). Now that there is only one likeable team left, I am hoping for our Dutch neighbours as well. They have already won it in Germany back in 1988, why not again?

If only the DFB reacted earlier and fired Flick last summer, Nagelsmann would've done an even better job in a full year than just the few months he was given. He has worked miracles if you look at where we came from and where we stood in November so noone can be mad at him or the players. Nagelsmann already mentioned the World Championship 2026 as an obvious goal and that journey began yesterday. Musiala and Wirtz will be global stars by then and we have extraordinary talent like Aleks Pavlovic and Paul Wanner on the rise, so we can really look forward to 2026 now.

I agree. I feel for the German team. As a Dutchmen I am not unfamiliar with haertbreak in these tournament and feeling like you were the best or one of the best teams and still not make it. It is a bit funny that it would have been better for Germany if Füllkrug didn't score that goal against the Swiss.

It seems Koeman will continue using Depay as the main striker.... That is unfortunate.

If that story is true, which it sounds like it is, how can anyone take a match seriously where one of the ref in it was in fact nabbed and suspended for match fixin. That is ridiculous.

Best news about Spain vs. France is that one of these teams will be eliminated.
