I would never welcome KPJ back to the Rockets, but I will always hope a misguided man can get his life straightened out. I think the Clippers are the perfect place for him basketball wise, because he has always tailored his game after Harden. Now off the court, I’m not sure being mentored by Harden is ideal.
No but I own restaurants and bars and have helped troubled young men get back on their feet. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I have given second and third chances and have been rewarded with some good employees. It is also rewarding to see them doing better even if they leave for better opportunities. I have also been disappointed at times. All any of us can do is the best we can in this regard. Tough love works. Coddling rarely does. I think had Ime got here a year sooner, he might have been able to help KPJ get his priorities straight, but who knows sometimes the damage is just too deep.
Ironically, I did at one point and time and some came back but others went on to lead productive lives. So, just because a person mess up, doesn't mean they will continue down that path.
I will give credit to kpj, he has been very consistent. Wasn’t he kicked off his hs teams, college team, and both nba teams? It’s not like he had one incident

KPJ will be alright and I see him as a good 9th Man instead of a starter.....fills the role of KJ Martin. There are a lot of guys he can beat up in LA, that's a large area and population.
