this game and the game where astros almost blew against the Orioles have a few similarities. both are bullpen game (yes, even though Bloss started i still count it as bullpen because astros used 6 pitchers) both had 2 great outfield catches (loperfido involved in both games) singleton started both games and went 2-5 both games of course astros had a big lead and almost blew both games lol
he's pretty upset about losing out on pitcher of the month so let's see how he will use it to fuel tomorrow game.
My text to my financial advisor after the game: Can you protect a 8 run lead in the 9th? As well as you protect my financial positions?
Yankees lost again tonight blowing a 3-1 lead in the 9th against the Sox. The Sox are only 3 games back in the loss column from them lol
Last night was perfect example of why you can never get enough runs. As painful as the bottom of the 9th was to watch it was still a win. Other than the bottom of the 9th and the HBP on Altuve it was a great game to watch with a bunch of great defensive plays by the Astros. If Singleton makes a decent throw to the pitcher after coming up with what would have been a great defensive play of his own, the bottom of the 9th probably does not escalate into the disaster it almost became. In the end we won. That's all that matters. We have to keep winning and keep the pressure on the Mariners. They know we are coming after them and they will eventually relinquish our rightful place in the division.
