I heard his defense was pretty darn good when he was in Toronto. Though it's probably true that DPOY will be a little bit of a stretch.
he was once one of the leagues leading shot blockers, and a tough defender. 6'8, quick, athletic, strong. he has all the tools to be the DPOY. the reason he let his defense slip is because he was tired from going 1 on 5 on offense, also he was the only defender on the team. therefore he was guarding the best player everynight with no help from anyone on his side. this year offense is much easier on him for obvious reasons. the defense will look GREAT. also: TRUE! we will have a better record than the lakers. divac just went down for a couple of months, so im sure of it.

Um. I'm as big a Yao fan as anybody, but there isn't a chance in the hell that he'll be able to do that. A quadruple double is rare enough (only a handfull of times in NBA history), but a quint has never been done before (at least not that I know of). T/F The Toyota Center will sell out at least 20 regular season games.
