Technically, he should be out -- but it's replay abuse.

someone on the training staff needs to tell yainer (also other catchers on the team) to throw the ball 1 step ahead of 2nd base when people are stealing the bases.

i've seen a lot of teams are starting to do this, even when against the astros.

of course this works when the runners aren't speed demon and you can cheat by throwing in front of 2nd base in stead of directly middle right at 2nd base.

Are we seriously asking for the team to demote someone batting .269 when we kept someone that batted .114 for 6 weeks?
