I don't know how you don't see it. Those teams were actively trying to tank. We still played our vets because we had no incentive to lose. OKc owned our pick and we couldn't tank to a top 3. That's all I'm saying. Much easier to win games late in season especially after all star break where teams basically know where they stand.
3rd time: all the teams in the NBA get soft months. Only two teams won 11 straight games. EXPLAIN IT TO YOURSELF.
Because those soft months happen earlier in the year. How do you not get it? Even some of good teams late in season start resting guys. And not all schedules are the same. Maybe they only had 5 soft games spread out through multiple parts of season. We literally got the worst teams in nba one after another and some even twice, and these worst teams weren't even at full strength.
When u Hate someone u can always move the goal post and spin the narrative like how rhu525 is doing. Green going super nova in March? It was against teams tanking or shtty teams. Even playoff teams jockeying for seeding decided to just ease off and tank against green. So much stupidity.
Listen man, this is ridiculous. Everyone knows the Rockets are not the only team that had a soft month in the final few months. We won 11 straight with a depleted team and you are just closing your eyes to who made that possible. Boston, Miami and Orlando had easier schedules than Houston from March onwards. Golden State, Philadelphia and Dallas had roughly similar difficulty from March onwards. The Rockets are the only team who won 11 straight from March onwards and we did it without our BEST player of the season. Again, there's plenty of ways to show Green had a bad season. This ain't it. You're literally zooming into 4 games we were meant to lose and focusing on that to validate yourself. No one is buying that.
You honestly sound more incoherent and wrong AF w each passing post. it’s an interesting evolution. You cite Jalen’s individual game performances and then call out someone highlighting Alpi for those not being his season avg lol Then you suggested there are 5 “quality” or “starting caliber” “big me “ in the entire NBA. 5 averaged what you labeled as “starting caliber.” Hahah keep going. This is too entertaining! Too, it’s possible to prop Jalen w/out ******** on e try one else. Try it.
PG Fred Van Vleet SG Jalen Green SF Dillon Brooks PF Jabari Smith C Alperen Sengun PG Reed Sheppard, Aaron Holiday SG Cam Whitmore SF Amen Thompson PF Tari Eason C Steven Adams Practices will be like All Star Futures Game
That should be the goal. The West is too stacked right now and there's no player the Rockets could bring that would make them a contender over most of those teams.
Quality vets cost an arm and a leg. FVV, DB, Uncle Jeff, Adams, Landale and AH can help the young players in practice and in the games too.
The aim should be to make it into the playoffs. I believe they can do that with good health. Even if they make it into the play in, they can cause an upset, which can propel them into the playoffs.
Cleveland did not show up in that game. They were nothing like a playoff team. That is the only mistake in that list. Green right now does not have the tools to deal with tougher defenses and under pressure situations. Still I find his streak very valuable and promising for the future, just no need to overblow it or underplay it. If he can figure out to do these on the next level, it will be amazing. in my opinion he is more suited for a midrange game in the half court and should try to excel there, cut down on the 3s. Like jimmy butler with a strong transition game.
lol which teams were jockeying for seeding did we beat again? I literally gave you a breakdown of our win streak. Then the actual playoff teams jockeying for seeding blew us out 5 games in a row. We beat one semi healthy playoff team team and I moved the goal post?
