I like people that say things that are about basketball - and don't come in with a personal bias -it is frankly stupid to say KPJ is a bad basketball player, he isn't he is very good, and players like Lebron, Love and others have talked about his mercurial talent. I get that he has mental issues, but I contend that 25 years ago we wouldn't know anything about that...and that kids had a chance to turn their lives around because the press protected them. Social media is the problem - we should realize that some of these players come from broken homes and need more than financial help. DD
I just thought it was ridiculous, the thought that he had changed in less than a year with little punishment. no he's the same guy just hasnt done a new offense in awhile.
He needs to get a similar therapy that Alex from A ClockWork Orange got in that movie. They should turn him into a spot up shooter slash vegetable. They should r****dize him as much as possible. Make him smart enough to get the ball and throw it to the basket but dumb and numb enough to not realize he's a spastic. Like Brick in Anchorman. He gets the job done but is dumb, happy and harmless (expect in that scene he killed a guy). Repogram him.
Kpj isn't a great guy but there are worse who have been allowed to continue nba careers. Will be interesting to see how he does in a different environment around veterans.... he can definitely play the game... hopefully he's more Mad Max than Artest....
If he were playing for us, I would wish that. But since he is playing for the Clippers, I hope he is cancer for that locker room.
I'm not concerned about that. The clippers are an aging team on the decline and we're ascending. The overlap of us both competing as contenders is likely close to zero. Nothing wrong with hoping a clearly troubled person has gotten better.
SB Nation has an article on the best remaining free agents. Even listed at no. 2 on the list, this is what they had to say about Miles Bridges. Obviously about any man who beats/assaults a woman (even if they later come back and "it did not happen that way"). No. 2 Miles Bridges No team should want Bridges after the horrifying domestic violence allegations he faced in 2022 and beyond. The Hornets brought him back last season, and were smoked in his minutes on the floor despite the 26-year-old putting up career-best scoring numbers. Read our James Dator on how keeping Bridges killed his Hornets fandom. This is how most people truly feel. Myself included.
Clippers are just shameful. Signed Primo last season. KPJ now. Targeting Miles Bridges next. They seem to love players who can't respect women i.e. half of the human population.
Kpj sucks at pg. We had kpj stans argue otherwise. I still stand by my stance that the stupid kpj pg experiment stunt the growth of our youngsters. Man is not a pg period.
I've said it before. The KPJ experiment and the whole chaotic no accountability culture slowed down the developmental trajectory. If they had taught Jalen to play the right way and given Sengun the offensive key from the beginning, we'd have a much better idea whether they were franchise cornerstone to build around or not. But after three seasons, we are still not sure.
Jabari smith got screwed over also. they made the guy sit at the corner 3s with the coach admitting to not having any plays designed for the youngster
