Many of our players seem poised for stardom, but which actually address their weaknesses and take a bold move forward in their play this coming year?

Went with Green, Amen, and Cam.
It is easier for 2nd year players to improve over their 1st year. On Green, he was so bad most of the year that it isn't hard for him to have a big jump next season.

Voted Green, Whitmore, and Thompson. It's Amen in particular who I think is going to have the biggest leap this year. I think he could be a superstar in a couple of years.

I think we see more from Tari than we expect (assuming health).

I’m convinced Bari takes a big leap this season. Bigs who are as young as he is and are still growing into their bodies always take a little bit longer. Alpi came into the league so much more nba ready than Bari did. I’m aware of Bari’s stiffness, lack of handle and lack of creation ability, but I still see a very valuable player with his size, shooting and defensive switchability. I don’t see a rim protector, but he’s a true modern 4/5. The big improvement in shooting efficiency from yr 1-2 is a great sign for another jump this year and a reason to be patient.

Jabari, Amen, Cam and Reed for me. Sengun made the leap last year so I didn't really count him. I just want to see Amen/Cam/Reed/Jabari/Sengun on the court together.

I don't think it's Tate, but other than that I have no idea.... which is why they all need more minutes. I think AJ Griffin gets roughly the same minutes as Bullock did last year, and that is a shame given the talent shown his rookie year.

I'd also say the two way guys prob don't make a jump, but it's possible that N'faly Dante gets minutes over Landale. Not likely, but possible.

I really like what Brooks did for us last season, but we need to move him to make time for the young guys. Hard to break out when you're playing 12 minutes a game.

I think Bari taking a leap would be the most monumental for the team's playoff chances and beyond.. I'm not calling for him to be KD
( which was a laughable analysis from CF GMs) but he gotta be able to give us a consistent 18/10 line at least

I expect more step-in faceup Js off of a simple pass or a dribble, more pick-and-pop Js, more turnaround Js. Some of it is on coach to give him more usage and have more trust in him.

3rd year is often the 'go' year.

Hoping it pans out for us. We probably need Jabari to take a stride forward. 15-16ppg on 40% from 3 would be a nice progression (along with the D and rebounding improving steadily)

if Jabari's making 40% from threes then he should get at least 7 shots a game and average 18 to 20ppg

While I am a big fan of Amen, I think Cam takes the biggest leap this coming season.

Amen and Jabari will look like the future duo. The 3rd to make a big 3 has yet to be determined

My guess is Jabari or Cam. Both have already shown they can score. If they just slightly improve efficiency and/or just develop a counter for when teams close out hard or help on drives they will help the team so much.

I have a feeling Jalen will feel the pressure of fighting for his next contract. I think he will either pass up some makeable shots to force a higher shooting percentage or just throw up too many to force a higher PPG number. Either way, I think he will continue to be a big topic of discussion because of all the touches he gets as one of the few threats driving to the paint on the team.

If I remember correctly, Jabari had monster rebounding numbers for several games right before Alp was injured. It was initially a surprise, but I think it was at that point that Bari learned how to take advantage of Alp's blocking to enable him to corral so many rebounds. I hope he can duplicate that this coming season. I am hoping for him to make the leap, with the others this season to push the Rockets to playoff contention.

I went with Jalen and Amen. Amen because anything positive on the offensive end is a leap. He’s already one of the best perimeter defenders in the league. Jalen because I want to see him succeed so it’s a little positive affirmation going on.
