If Biden wants to win he should be doing it. Frankly if he want to put to rest talk of replacing him in the ticket he needs to do this.

We all know this by trusting our own eyes, except for the clowns in here trying to gaslight us everyday.
Biden's Litany of Excuses https://reason.com/2024/07/03/bidens-litany-of-excuses/ excerpt: Biden said he "fell asleep on the stage" because he'd gone "around the world a couple of times" in the two weeks preceding the debate. "I wasn't very smart," he said at a fundraiser in McLean, Virginia. "I decided to travel around the world a couple times, I don't know how many time zones." Biden assured donors that this was "not an excuse but an explanation." Meanwhile, his press secretary kept repeating the line that actually, his poor performance is attributable to the fact that he was sick with a cold. They should probably get their story straight. But also, though Biden had been in Italy, France, and Los Angeles in early and mid-June, he returned to Washington, D.C., on June 16—11 days before the debate—where he worked on debate prep for a whole week prior to the showdown. It is implausible that Biden's jet lag lasted a full 11 days. And, if he is so worn out by that type and frequency of travel, he's probably ill-suited for another term in the White House, as this type of thing will be expected of him. more at the link
this has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation: Andrew Bates, a White House spokesman, said the claim was “absolutely false” and that the White House had not been given enough time to respond.
I wonder if Biden is going to pardon Hunter before stepping down, this has got to be Hunter's biggest concern right now.....
This is like a college football coach flirting with another job. They never, ever suggest they are open to leaving because doing so undermines their entire resolute image. I tend to agree that this report means he is dropping out. America saw a weak old man and agreeing with that, even implicitly, undermines everything. I typically think Thomas Friedman is a dummy, but I agreed with his assertion that Biden could do a lot to improve his image by dropping out, being a full-time president, and campaigning on behalf of the eventual nominee. Voters don't personally dislike him like they do Trump; they simply think he's too old to serve another term.
Trump Widens Lead After Biden’s Debate Debacle, Times/Siena Poll Finds Donald Trump is ahead of President Biden by six percentage points among likely voters in a new national survey. Overall, 74 percent of voters view him as too old for the job, an uptick since the debate. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/07/03/us/politics/poll-debate-biden-trump.html
Im starting to think Biden chooses to suspend his campaign. It appears as if this is snowballing. One Democrat from the House has publicly called for it and reportedly many more are moving in that direction. With the issue of his health at the fore, that is going to put more and more pressure on the subject of the status of his health and I don’t think he will be able to effectively push back on that. He doesn’t have the capabilities. It seems likely every month his faculties will be declining further and the stress and strain of the Presidency combined with the extreme pressure he is under politically right now and the stress and strain of running for President is too much for Biden to bear. He’s very old and feeble, physically and seemingly mentally as well. Thats not going to get better. It’s likely to get worse. We’ve all seen what the stress and strain of the Presidency does to a man in his 40s. Now apply that to a man who is 81. It must be magnified and it appears its taken that toll on Biden. I think its in the Democrats best interest he suspend his campaign asap so they can cobble something else together. But, yea, either way, the Democrats look cooked absent some crazy circumstances.
