    I imagine someone has posted this video before, but a search of the site couldn't turn it up. Still, it was new to me, so I'll bet some others haven't seen it yet.

    For those of us who remember the Drunk Stevie videos throughout the years, this Players' Tribune interview from a year ago gives hope that he's gotten things together at this point:

    I’m not against alcohol in moderation but it’s gotta be the most dangerous drug when used for self medication instead of proper mental healthcare. The lives ruined is incalculable… it’s good to see Stevie doing well!

    thanks for posting this. Good to see The Franchise winning against his demons. He had a lot on his shoulders at a young age, and it’s all the more understandable that he didn’t want to be in Vancouver so far from his grandma in Maryland.

    Maybe he's confusing him with Adrian Griffin (Jr's dad), but then I think Rudy was gone by the time Adrian Griffin showed up. No clue.

    Francis and Yao are the best example of how long the road to a championship can be. It would seem instant. Two superstars. It was not. So the current Rockets, I still expect it to take another 6 years and that's if everything goes as planned.

    I'd go with 5 years. Soonest it could possibly happen is maybe 3-4 years. I'm thinking we'll squeak into the playoffs this year and get bounced right away. Then every year after, we take it one round further until we hit paydirt.

    But yeah, in a few years we might have 1 or 2 of the core and an aging superstar vet we traded for. And no decent picks to replenish the supply. You just never know.
