If Sheppard actually has Steve Nash handles and he simply didn't show it at Kentucky cause role limitations, then this thread unlike the 50 other franchise player ones not named Sengun actually has a decent shot of being true.
Reed is lacking like 8 important Nash finishing moves. A hook shot from either hand, floater, euro, runners, elite bank shot from 1 and 2 feet, left hand under scoops and right, crazy pivot duncan moves. and Derrick is 6'5 with a 6'7 wingspan
Is this a thing? I mean, any indications that he makes stuff up? I find his takes bad most of the time. But I assumed the reporting was legit.
It's that the team relies on him to constantly push their misinformation uncritically as effectively their official propagandist. He's never making things up, but a lot of what he's told to report is absurd.
Sheppard didn’t have amazing handles in high school. He had one blow by move that he did all the time that worked in high school but doubtful he finds the same success in the pros without refining his handle. Having said that he displayed much more in high school than he did at Kentucky imo namely because he had relatively low usage at Kentucky. I don’t see Nash but honestly I see a ton of Chris Paul in his game. Granted his size wasn’t as much of an issue in HS but he provided gritty defense and very high IQ. Watch his game against PRP. He was up against a lot of size for high school and he killed them by repeatedly taking midrange fades and operating in the midrange very similar to the way Chris Paul made his mark on the league. Reed dropped 50 that game and it’s a good indicator of what he can do with the ball in his hands.
I can kind of see this. Cp3 has a crazy unorthodox falling midrange shot when contested by lengthy defenders.
