You can go back and read some of my old posts letting people know who I am and who I know if you want. I gave detailed information to those who sent me messages asking about stuff I said in previous posts (except for the names of my NBA friends). You could have done the same. I don't owe you a damn thing and don't care how anyone feels about what I say or how I say it. If this person signs with the Rockets, I already (privately) told some reputable people here who that player is. I can provide screenshots if it comes to pass, or I'm sure one of the people I sent a message to will mention it. The reason I don't say much is because many people here (like you) are so negative. If I just wanted the clout I would have started a thread regarding this.
I like Holiday and think he's underrated, he's done things to get us wins and those Holiday brothers help contribute to winning cultures from what I've seen. With Jrue and Justin being part of championship teams and Aaron being part of the bench on our team moving to .500 from terrible seasons. Would hate to lose him, if something fair for both sides can be negotiated, but if not I can understand his perspective and it is what it is.
Nope. He hasn’t shown that ability. Handles haven’t been sufficient enough. But we’ll agree to disagree. I’ll bump this thread next season. You’ll probabaly still be in denial
You arent the god of the NBA you dont set the standards for positions. Just cuz you dont think his handles arent good enough doesnt mean ****. Amen doesnt care about or need your approval to play pg.
Do you hoop? You literally need solid handles to be a pg. Amen looks worse than Jeremy Sochan as the main facilitator of the offense. I don’t know why ppl are taking it so personal. He didn’t look comfortable as a main facilitator of the offense.
I think questioning his handles is legitimate. He definitely needs to work on them and shooting. What bothers me is that after 30 games getting significant minutes (and being a key cog as a SF), that internet warriors declare him as not a PG. I’ll let the pro coaches figure it out. We are ahead of schedule in a full tear down and re-build, have 6 high potential guys under 22, lots of potentially high draft picks, and the flexibility to sign at least one max player in addition to two more 2nd contract maxes. I’m patient enough to wait on the FO to decide if Amen is a PG or not. It’s ironic that older guys like me have much more patience than younger people that have lots more time to wait for a championship.
Prob like 1% on this forum has played any serious ball on here (good/game planned for) and the other 1% probably were as good as who they complain about being a scrub daily on here The remaining 98% just watch and throw out cute latest alphabet gang (woodwose metric) info to sound smart and fit in something that they never physically participated in, not even a game of horse You should have solid handles and jumper at the guard position, but that doesn't mean you can't be effective while developing that, which Amen showcased rookie yr If I had to nitpick, I would want him to improve his shot over his handle, because his defense/energy is something special in the making, especially if he can stay injury free for most part
