In the hypothetical you were proposing, it would have been an opt-in and trade scenario with PG, nobody said the Rockets would get things for nothing, but you are massively misreading the situation if you think the rockets have Amen even close to a deal such as you proposed. Not to mention the trade you proposed wasn't possible for several reasons, among them being that the Clippers would have been taking back more money than they sent out. There are no untouchable players for the right deal, but the one you proposed was miles away from that - beginning with the fact that it wasn't possible.

You don't even seem to understand your own wacky trade proposal. The only reason I replied to your post at all was that it was an impossible trade that doesn't work according to the CBA and was silly on the face of it. You already included BOTH Tate and Sheppard in your proposed trade for PG (in case you forgot the details, in addition to Tate and Sheppard you also proposed including Brooks, Landale, Jeff Green and Amen)...lol That trade was a non-starter, which is what I have said all along. Now it is not only a non-starter but it is a moot point because of PG's new max extension courtesy of Morey.
No I do, if the two parties involved they could make it work. Cash can be involved as evidence by Stone saying they don't plan to get involved in free agency.....but would rather use money for trades instead. You have your opinion and id like to say I care....but I don't.
The Clippers saved a ton of luxury tax money and room to maneuver under the second apron over taking back a large Chris Paul contract. I think there was legitimate reasons to potentially turn that down over getting some minimal assets back
The reason why I say that you don't understand your own trade proposal is that in order to try to fix it you said to swap out Tate for Sheppard. You can't do that because you ready included BOTH of those players in your trade! This is not my opinion, it is simply what you wrote ♂️
