I see him as a potential Bullock replacement we can look at for a few months to decide if we want to keep him another year, not more, not less.
Wrapping groups up into one metamorphic towel is akin to racism. When you say most religious folks do this or that you are passing judgement on a group of people which is a form of prejudice. Do you think most Jews are money hungry, most Muslims are terrorists? It is stereotypical thinking which has no legitimate place in a free society where all men are to be seen as created equally.
Yeah, I just hate to deal in speculation. Maybe it was something with a set design or costume. Sam smith and nas x have done stuff like that, so it wouldn't shock me if Beyonce was doing something. I guess someone would need to ask him what he was referring to at the time. I just don't think in a league like the nba that a comment like that is a significant concern. I'd be more concerned about the Harden lifestyle where a player is trying to give it a go after partying all night...
I didn’t call you out. So if you took offense and the shoe fits, then wear it my brother! As others as pointed out, CJ Stroud has been very successful and is a proud supporter of his faith. I don’t see him receiving this same level of hate. I hope he can continue to be himself and that keyboard warriors like you and I can just continue let him be who is without judgement.
religion always attacks music.... from Elvis and his gyrating hips... "thats the Devil's work, Jerry Lee!" the Beatles 'bigger than Jesus' = burn it up.... to all heavy metal being satanists... even country artist Cody Jinks responds to accusations... So put up your Bible Oh, let me get mine I'm not dragging the whole world to hell You're wasting my time just usual Bible thumping imo... some folks would move to the town in Footloose in a heartbeat - lol! and yeh, as i noted earlier... after Blames Hard-on - that lockeroom could prob use a lil religion. lol
He was playing well when Nate McMillan was there. As a matter of fact they were praising him for having a bright future AFTER his rookie season. When Quinn Snyder took over he became the black sheep. His nephew accidentally drowned and I think that screwed him up for a while. He had to take time off for personal reasons. He also suffered minor injuries which kept him out of a number of games, so his second season was basically time off.
Probably the right point of view. Expectations are probably what Bullock provides, with some upside to be more (functional Brooks or Green insurance?). Even if you say, loved Jamal Shead, would you really want him picking up minutes over Sheppard or Amen at backup point behind FVV? Any pick would likely be in Hartenstein situation, even if they were to pan out. At this point, the best thing to me would be to see what we could get for Jaesean Tate. Multiple 2nds sounds great to me.
What religion went after Tom Petty? You can find isolated cases on just about anyone. He's allowed to be a bible thumper just like you're allowed to ignore him. There are worse things going on in locker rooms. You think this is on par with a player having 3 baby mamas and the distractions that comes with that?
I think he's not on the active roster much this year and is here for depth if they do a 3 or 4 for 1 deal at the deadline or next offseason. I could see them at the deadline clearing out Tate, J Green, Landale, and Adams for a younger backup to Sengun or 2nd rounders.
We need Tate and Green for salary matching purposes. Rather than trading for seconds, we will probably do what we did with Oladipo and trade them for a similar contract with an extra year left in order to kick the can down the road.
I mean depends on what you mean by reclamation projects. Kyle Lowry was getting relegated to 3rd string PG in Memphis before the trade. Dragic was floundering in Phoenix before coming to Houston. Austin Rivers wasn't so much bad but he definitely had a resurgence in Houston. That's off the top of my head. I'm sure there are more depending on how strict your definition of a reclamation project is.
If he has healed up, then I don't see AJ going to the G league. He has a lot of game from what I have seen in videos. He certainly is no project. 16th pick in 2022 ahead of Tari Eason. He has a very consistent jump shot from what I see so I would expect him to make a bid for time on the 2nd unit. Looks like the Hawks cut him more for their need to trim payroll.
Depends on his defensive effort. He may have to prove himself to Ime. G League may be where he ultimately has to do it.
The Summer league will say a lot about him I think so hoping he becomes what he was his rookie season.
As I told the other poster, if you took offense and the shoe fits, wear it. I was specifically referring to his outspoken stance on the COVID vaccine. See my inclusion of Jonathan Isaac.
