If Thompson develops a 3 point **** then the league is in trouble.

And they lost 60 games WITH Wemby. Doesn’t matter if there’s no team around him.

That's how good the Stone screen was, spurs didn't even think they had to outflank the rockets.

Honestly, I don't understand the hype of Rob Dillingham...he's more comparable to Bones Hyland than Allen Iverson. This draft was weak AF!!!

According to the article, they allowed the ninth fewest attempts.

Teams only outscored them by 5 points from 3 (opponents 33 Spurs 28 points from 3)

That's why they like Castle. Good perimeter defender at 6'6".

Spurs second round picks got themselves a tad redemption.

    Nunez and Ingram.

Rafael Stone using Kelly Iko as a Source from the Athletic to send a Message Rockets want Donovan Clingan to make the Spurs not draft up Trading the 4th Pick and 8th Pick for the 2nd Pick.

Rafael Stone maybe had sources Spurs wanted Reed, maybe trade up to 2nd to get Reed might happen.

    Is he mediocre, Nope.

So far his Top Picks haven't Bust like the 76ers or Lakers the Last 10 years.

Thankfully Rafael Stone and Eli Witus use Analytics and watch many games closely to determine that player will be really good.

    76ers
    Hits Joel Embiid
Not Drafting Jayson Tatum instead of trading up to get Markelle Fultz

    Michael Carter Williams
    Traded Jrue Holliday
Ben Simmons (All Star) but injuries and not improving his shooting is his downfall
Markelle Fultz - Motorcycle Accident ruined his shoulder
    Nerlen Noel
    Jahlil Okafor

    Lakers
    Lonzo Ball
    D'Angelo Russell
    Brandon Ingram (All Star)
    Julius Randle

    Rockets
    Jalen Green
    Alperen Sengun
    Jabari Smith
    Tari Eason
    Amen Thompson
    Cam Whitmore
    Reed Shepperd

Late 1st Round Misses Josh Christopher, Usman Garuba, TyTy Washington

    Undrafted
    Daishen Nix

Out the League, Wasted Time on them, offensive possessions wasted on Kevin Porter Jr. and Christian Wood selfish plays over Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun development.

Kevin Porter Jr., Christian Wood, Talent is not the problem Mindset, Selfishness, Lazy on Defense, Fighting, Throwing Objects at Coaches.

Team looked energized without Christian Wood and Kevin Porter. Iso Ball really hurt the Development that year.

Stephen Silas hiring was the worst, but they saved money.

We agree on almost everything and I think Sengun will be an all -star multiple times but he isn't better than Wemby

Sengun is better today. Wemby will probably be better long term but I do question his heart. Doesn't strike me as a killer.

Sengun definitely can be a better player on the offensive side. It might be the old prime harden vs prime kawai debate

    How exactly?

    Victor Wembanyama Year 1
    21.4pts 10.6reb 3.9ast 1.2 stl 3.6 blk
    26pts 12.9reb 4.7ast 1.5 stl 4.3blk (per 36)

    Alperen Sengun
    Year 1
    9.6 pts 5.5reb 2.6ast 0.8stl 0.9blk
    16.7pts 9.5reb 4.5ast 1.4stl 1.6blk (per 36)
    Year 2
    14.8pts 9reb 3.9ast 0.9stl 0.9blk
    18.4pts 11.2reb 4.8ast 1.2stl 1.2blk (per 36)
    Year 3
    21.1pts 9.3reb 5ast 1.2stl 0.7blk
    23.4pts 10.4reb 5.5ast 1.3stl 0.8blk (per 36)

Wemby in his rookie season is better than Sengun in his 3rd year breakout season. He's a whole tier of prospect higher than Sengun, and I love Alpi, but be ****ing serious he isn't remotely close to Wemby.

I do think Sengun is a slightly better offensive player right now--his true shooting percentage and assist rates are higher, scoring volume is similar. But Wemby is a vastly more impactful defensive player and will probably surpass Sengun soon on offense as well, if he can stay healthy.
