He has weird religious beliefs against Beyonce, it appears his coaches atDuke and Atl didn't play him for some reason, has a bad injury history, not a good defender, and the team that drafted him has already given up on him.
Don't worry about "where will he get his minutes" There are 15 guys on a roster, it is more than likely 5 won't play at all on any given night. Last year Tate averaged 16mpg (65 games). But wasn't even in the rotation... there are always injuries and opportunities. So. I really like this guy. Young. Super talented. He's a good dude from a good family. He might be a little bit of a headcase, but not in a dangerous KPJ way. We weren't going to get a better prospect at 44 or whatever it was. This was a good move.
