Ona serious note, I’m actually in the minority I think Bronny will be a good role player after 2 years of development. Kind of a Lou Dort type without the heft.

I’m surprised Filip is still available. Wouldn’t mind taking him as a developmental center.

I think if Tyler Smith is there thats who id pick. I like Mogbo also.
But theres lots of intriguing guys left.

 

Tyler Smith is a pretty good player.

 

I believe the second round should have taken place on the same night as the first one.

 

So many teams have the opportunity to do the funniest thing.

 

Why 2nd round picking so slow this year …..

 

If they want to collect future assets and Bronny only wants to play for Lakers or Suns, then you can kind of see what happens if you draft him and then trade him to one of those teams to upgrade a future pick.

That's what I would do. Also think he's a good developmental prospect I can give him a pass on last season with what he went through with his heart, but dude has great 3 & D potential if the Lakers didn't want to give up much. He did work out with Phoenix, so maybe they would want him.

 

Oso Ighodaro, Jonathan Mogbo, or Adem Bona

 

You know, the guy isn’t untalented and as much as I’m just being obtuse it really would be a devious move. Being a sharp GM really isn’t about making friends, it’s about leverage and being a thorn in the side of this deal is about as easy of a leverage play as you can make. The worst that happens is you draft him 2nd round and he’s bad and never makes it, like most 2nd round picks. The best is you draft him and he actually becomes a useful rotation wing. But draft him and force LeGM to deal you something of value in return, what’s he gonna do, tell all his agent’s players to avoid us? They already do.

You could even use his notoriety to boost our RGV development guys and coach Ime. Everyone knows, everyone saw Ime and Lebron get into it. Ime is a players coach for sure and I’d imagine not everyone thinks Lebron is hot ****. Having his son in interviews saying how good of a coach Ime is, how good the team is, etc is a win.
