Love the pick. Filled a huge need in perimeter shooting and he’s actually got some defensive upside despite his size. Very athletic. He will improve on defense and playmaking with Fred and Udoka working with him.

Maybe? But I doubt it. He was a really good individual and team defender in college with amazing block/steals rate. I'm not comparing him to Chris Paul, but it is possible to be smaller and a good defender. DeAnthony Melton is around the same size and is an impactful defender I don't know why Reed couldn't be a plus defender in the NBA.
Going from KPJ as the "franchise point guard" to Reed Sheppard taking those honors is actually quite funny
Well, we got Reed and now that he's officially a Rocket I'll definitely support and root for him. Just hope he reaches his potential and the hype he's been getting. If he's even close to any of those Mark Price comps I'll be very happy. We'll see how things pan out.
