Everyone here has an opinion and that’s the beauty of this forum and life in general, but when you claim total righteousness of said opinion and call people names and later you’re proven to be wrong then own up to it. I can respect that. I’ve had to do it, a lot of us have. However when you don’t, I have no respect for that……
Plus he is openly rooting for the Astros to lose. Every post was attacking Espada, Diaz, or Chas. We all lost patience with Espada but he wanted him fired day 1. He wanted, more than anything, to prove that everyone was wrong about Dusty. He even accused Dusty detractors of being racist. I’ve never seen a “fan” root for his team to lose until that guy. Not sure I ever will again. That’s the last I will say on that poster.
Mariners averaging 3.90 runs per game is just not gonna sustain their season. Their bullpen is shaky, they have no true closer.

Yea all that also. I try to move past the absurdity of some posters and not engage. I don’t put them on ignore because I’m continually amused by their stupidity. I can take people having opinions I personally think are dumb, find annoying or really almost anything as I know most people here are good fans that want this team to win. Clearly getting excited seeing the team you claim to be a fan of is straight up b*tch behavior. Only person I’ve ever used the ignore function on here. I honestly would rather a Rangers fan be in here trolling than that douche.
Tools (overall game) matters in baseball, or any sport. Springer can hit poorly, but he offers defense, doesn't clog the bases, and is less likely to GIDP due to speed. Sports, like life, everything matters. If you're awesome in one or categories, it can offset your weaknesses. But the totality of everything matters overall.
And then get no hit the next game I feel like I vaguely remember that, but ever since that Tigers game in 2021 I've been salty.
Looking ahead. Mets are 15-5 for their last 20 games. Astros are 14-6 for their last 20 games. Very similar, however, astros are riding a 7 gms win streak. Both teams are also sitting at 0.500. They are on a roll as much as the astros are. We'll see who is the real deal.
It is pretty easy to "own" Rangers fans though. All of us have at least one irrational sports take (we all know mine), and folks like DaDakota that has multiple irrational opinions still wants the team to succeed as a whole. But... RVO is someone took it to a whole new level while throwing in the personal attacks.
It hasn't gone unnoticed that you yourself have made great strides combating said cynicism this season, and have earned all due credit.
