Fauci funded GOF research in China. That had nothing to do with Trump, except Trump should've fired Fauci when he found out what Fauci was doing. Truth is Fauci should be tried for treason. Trump F'ed up when he took Fauci's advice.
We all have political opinions here and it is not difficult to find places to talk about them. This is not that place. This place is for baseball. There are plenty of people here that push the limits of collegiality on both sides of politics. I was recently accused of racism by a couple of our friends for disagreeing with their take on a race related baseball development program. I have not and will not respond because I value the intent of limiting discussion here to the sport we all love. I am asking you to do the same.

My comment, which was a response to you injecting the term “politics”, said your point of view was either short-sighted, ignorant, or racist. In your case I would lean toward ignorant. But the fact that you come here and make a comment referencing my comment by saying “I’m not going to respond”, is, in fact, a response, and the exact opposite of “limiting discussion here to the sport we all love.”

I'll always remember that time clear lake elementary school burned down and they bused us to another school a ways away. We had to integrate into their classes at this new school...forget the name. Anyway, there was a kid in one of my classes and all the whispers were "That's J.R. Richard's cousin!". There were some "oooh's" and "aaah's". So, everyone was kind of trying to get a signed baseball or something...lol. Just kidding on that last sentence...albeit I think the thought crossed my mind at one point. But, I'll always remember J.R. and definitely watched him pitch albeit don't remember anything in particular about it. Did I go to a game he started? Don't know. Possibly.
