Would PG and KD come to Houston to play for Ime?

Well Ine ain’t running a complicated or even unique offense that’s predicated on passing so I’m sure both those ISO’ kings would love it here.

 

Would be monumentally stupid to gut our core to add two old and aging players whose injuries are stacking up.

How many times must teams make this mistake? They'll come here with no passion or drive, get hurt, then we'll be rebuilding again.

I'd rather fail with the guys we have then succeed with those two because that success will be nothing more than a 2nd round exit at best.

 

That's about $100 million in salary. Not really sure what the suggestion is on how we match that

The phrase, "something old, something new" comes to mind, but I don't hate this depending on what the draft capital is. Just not sure these guys meshed together get us to the promised land. This is a risky approach, but certainly gives us some firepower. With that said, I've never been a fan of Mitchell, nor KD, so I'll have to adapt.

 

Just a thought... I agree with you WHOLEHEARTEDLY about having to adapt.

Now if the Rox are in championship contention I will adapt a LOT faster

I don't want either but KD would obviously fit better because of his shooting and length. I would be OK if it was a handful of picks and say Jabari/Tari, but I would not be OK with loosing Sengun, Jalen, Amen or Whitmore.
