You missed the post he made a couple days ago where he tried to claim he had inside info, and then right after lots of actual journalists contradicted every thing he said lmao.

Exactly! All the crap about others being so fast, but he can steal, he can shoot, and he's a great passer.

It's crazy how people pump up guards on our team who can't shoot but are fast. They scoff at a great 3 PT shooter and FT shooter, yet praise a future star fast guy who shoots 13.8% from the 3 and only 68.4% at the free throw line. What the hell? Do you not want a point guard who can pass and shoot well to replace FVV in the future? Oh, he's not fast enough. He's too short. He has meaty hands. SMH

Does Reed Sheppard have shoulders? I'm not sure you could fit a chip on one which is a classic red flag.

I can’t see the Spurs moving their picks, unless it’s for another lottery chance in 25. The are sitting pretty at 4 and 8 to get 2 guys that will probably start for them and they get to tank again. They will take whoever is left between Sarr, Risacher, Sheppard, and Clingan and still have a shot at Castle, Carter, Edey, Topic and a myriad of other guys at 8. Atlanta would trade #1 in a second for those two picks, but the Spurs won’t do it.

Are you serious right now? I think his character is the least of our concerns. This isn't some guy hanging at strip bars, out hanging with thugs, out breaking laws, doing drugs, getting charged with domestic violence, or off getting a bunch of different women pregnant.

I'd say these interview excerpts below speak well of his character.

How would you describe yourself as a leader?

RS: Yeah, I'm a vocal leader, but everything that I say is positive. You know, if something bad happens, I say it's on me. If they start missing shots, I'll be like, “you're good. Keep shooting. Shoot with confidence.” You know, I'm never bringing any of my teammates down or saying anything negative about them. It’s just always trying to build their confidence and keep the whole team positive and have no energy vampires. So everything is positive about the team and just everyone sticks together and just keeps that the main goal in the season

How important is your faith to you?

Yeah, it's very important. You know, growing up in a church, my family, we go to church every Sunday and it's a big thing.

At the end of the day, what do you hope to be remembered for?

RS: Probably just being a good person. You know, being like a nice young man. I don't want anyone to have anything negative to say about me if my name gets brought up. Everyone's like, “he's a good man. He's a good guy.” When people see you walking, they can only say positive things about you. And never get too confident or don't go and boast about anything. Just remain humble and yeah, just be a good person.

For those who aren’t familiar with your game, what are your greatest strengths and playstyle?

RS: Yeah, well, one of my strengths I think is I'll do whatever it takes to win. I can pass really well so if I need to go out and get some of my teammates open or get a steal on defense or something and I'm just going to go out and do whatever it takes and play my hardest. And then if we need a bucket or something, I can go get a bucket as well. But just being an overall good teammate, always encouraging, being unselfish on the court — really just doing whatever it takes to win.

You should watch it for yourself... then realize that's the game plan that got Calipari run out of town.

I absolutely think the Rockets are relaying to everyone that Clingan is the guy to encourage trade up offers because we are much more likely to get a trade up offer for him than we are for Reed.

If we don't get a good offer, I think they will take Reed. And it will be the right move. I would definitely move this pick for the right trade though

They can trade for Risacher to keep Wemby happy if some other team takes him. If Risacher falls to 3 Rox should call their bluff.

I hope all the other stuff is just noise and we end up drafting Reed Sheppard.

Stone shouldn't go after the often injured Brandon Ingram or any other player eg PG, KD, JB .

Don't trade Sengun at any costs, even if Clingan becomes a Rocket.

I think a trade today much more likely is for a trade down + future pick than it is for a player

That would be glorious if Risacher fell to 3 --> the Spurs end up trading 4 & future FRP to get their guy AND Rox still get Shep at 4.

I hope Houston can acquire another good 2025 1st round pick plus Carter, or acquire Sheppard with the 3rd pick.
