Re: KD, depends on what the cost will be (I guess this is always true but) but if it's just their own picks, it would be a MAJOR get for the Rockets. Not only do we obviously get better, it helps our still extremely young players develop. KD will most certainly decline with age (everyone does) but he's a very skilled player and if he's not asked to carry the team every night, he'll be very very valuable player for us. BUT I'd be disappointed if we gave away a HAUL for KD, like all our picks, all swaps, plus a young talent. Re: Knicks, what an exciting time to be a Knicks fan. They got a real team and real future. They'll be a strong challenge to Boston in the East next year. For us, we have our young core so no need to keep drafting. We now need more assets to swing for a superstar to pair with Sengun and hopefully one more breakout star from our core.

Okay if we gave up the 2025 Brooklyn pick--what the hell. That could have legitimately been Cooper Flagg. WTF are you doing, Stone?

We downgraded amazing picks just for a CHANCE to trade for a 36 year old Durant. The Nets just decided to blow it all up …

    Somehow I’m not shocked.

Kicked the can down the road…for now.*

*Sounds like they’re also ready to flip those Suns picks for something now.

    Tilman/Ime got that itchy finger.

We are giving up the unprotected 2025 Nets pick? It was unprotected right?

I am certain this isn't the case....

The Nets would have arranged the deal with Houston contingent on their other trade being accepted (and the trade with the Knicks also contingent).
They weren't going to blow it up and tank for us.

All I'm going to say is I hope this is somehow Booker, not Durant. I don't really see how that could be, but that's the only way I'm okay selling so low on the 2025 Brooklyn pick.

If we don't, unlikely they do the NYK trade?

What a brutal day, from the excitement of seeing the bridges trade to this....just awful

I really hate this. If they are giving up bridges, it means that they are going to be absolutely terrible. Wtf?
