Never liked Banchero and still don’t. I agree that Smith will probably surpass him, but I do worry that he will never be aggressive enough to be a true alpha Batman or Robin. I’m certain Banchero won’t be.
Meh TS% (though better than his teammates) and more turnovers than assists. Granted, the other players on his team played good enough defense that Paolo's offense should have been enough. If the Magic actually had an efficient offensive engine, they would be a very scary team. Maybe Paolo becomes that, but right now he still hurts the team offensively almost as much as he helps it. He's a bigger, better Jalen Green or KPJ right now. I'd say he's close to being effiicient enough on offense that with his high usage will be good if he closes that hole in his game.
LOL. This is one of those arguments you really can't fight. As a fan, it's tough to watch a bad nose game in, game out.
