Take note, Pissed-Off Cornbread: THIS is what a thread-starting post should look like.

What If he is TJ McConnell with a consistent 30-footer?

Or a JJ Redick that can dribble, pass, and snag 2-3 steals a game?

What If he is actually a black man?

Whatever he is, he better be pretty damn elite at it if we are taking him at 3. Given his alarming combine measurements he better have some insanely elite skills because he has a ton physically going against him in the NBA.

I think there are just as many long wingspan flops as there are 6-3 with 40+ inch vertical flops.

He can hoop. The draft is always a gamble, especially this one. I haven't seen Donovan Clingan show one advanced post-move, and he might go 1 overall.

Everyone needs to stop with these expectations no matter who the pick is.

None of the players in this draft are going to be "damn elite" anytime soon.

Most don't have those ceiling. And those who do have such a low probability of hitting it and even less chance of it given how they will be fighting for minutes given all the other young players already on the team. Remember that both Sengun and Jalen still have room to grow. Tari, Whitmore, and Amen are basically still huge unknowns because of age and only 1 real year of play. And even Jabari still probably has a good chance to add levels to his offensive game and polish to his defense/rebounding.

Maybe because everything has been discussed ad nauseam in other threads? Not everyone likes to repeat the same **** 10 times a day like you.

Or maybe nobody likes your shitty threads.

    Either, or both.

If we were picking him 8-10 I wouldn't mind too much but 3 is ridiculous. He's definitely more of sg than a pg, but he's really undersized. Good catch and shoot guy. I get Jon Barry vibes watching him. If we really just want to draft a guy who can shoot I'd rather have Knecht over him by a mile.
