I just have a feeling the rockets are gonna push their chips in too soon. It all depends on the price, but I’d rather hear names like Paul George than Marcus Smart. Yuck.

It's too early for some of these star trades, let's up the value of our young bucks first.

Kevin Durant AND Jimmy Butler? Or is it one or the other? If you can nab both of those guys and keep 50% of the current core together its a coup. 3 year window could result in a ring, but then you'd be rebuilding again. Worth it? Im torn, but want to say yes.

I'm tired of old, injury prone stars that are well past their peak. Let's just continue to develop in house talent.

I'm not convinced guys like Jimmy, KD, PG have enough left in the tank to win a championship as more than a complementary player anymore. Or if they can even stay healthy enough for a real playoff run. Unless we're getting them for a bargain bin price, I don't see the purpose in trading for them.

    Whoever is willing to accept Brooks + Landale + Tate + 2027 FRP + 2 2026 SRPs.
Butler or PG = 4 year extension with team options on Years 3 & 4 (tradeable contracts in 2 years) of course, if they were willing to accept that type of extension I am sure LA & Miami would offer it as well

There is nuance involved in each one of those situations. I wouldnt point to either KD or Jimmy as the issue(s).

So if you replace Jalen with Jimmy and Jabari with KD while limiting the collateral damage to future draft picks you dont think the team is pushing for a ring? I think a locked in KD/Jimmy is a great combo.

Really good to see the Franchise looking healthy and out and about. We were all worried about him for a bit there.

Don't put your chips in for an old player like PG13, KD or even Jimmy Butler.

Impatience will kill this budding team. OKC has shown the right way to get close to becoming a real contender.

I hope they all leave to the East.
Mid 40 wins for Clippers and Suns. Grizzlies bounce back. Lakers and Warriors fall off. Ingram makes a business decision after trade rumors.
    5 Playoff spots wide open

I’d take one of those stars, but I’m not giving up Alpi(obviously), Amen, Cam, or Tari. Jalen and Jabari can go if the deal is right. Brooks can go too but I do like what he brings to the team.

If we trying to get two stars, we might have to give up Amen or Cam. I don’t think it’s worth it because we still need guys to take over when the aging stars retire.

I'd be OK with George for the right price. I think KD and especially don't-want-to-be-here Butler have the kind of personality that could wreck a locker room full of youngsters. Unless KD really wants to come and he and Udoka work things out beforehand, I'd pass on both those guys.

Never understood how people love Cam but not Jalen?

Cam had the exact same scoring efficiency as rookie Jalen but with significantly more easier shot profile as it was a significantly smaller portion of his buckets were self created and he averaged more turnovers than assists which Green will never do in his career.

As we hear more and more rumors / hot goss...

My fav scenario RN (subject to change)

SA trade #4 + Bassey + ATL 2026 swap rights to ATL for #1 + Capela.
Hawks get swap back + cut salary / avoid penalties.
Spurs pickup starting C & move up for Risacher. Spurs now have the Foreign Legion or San Antonio Towers (works for marketing!) of SF Wemby, PF Risacher, & C Capela.

#1: SAS (trade with ATL) - Risacher
    #2: WSH - Sarr
#3: ATL (trade with HOU) - Clingan
Atlanta gives up AJ Griffin to ensure Clingan after Htown flirts with POR, MEM, & CHI.
#3 to ATL for #4 & AJ Griffin (who fits in TPE)

    #4 HOU - Sheppard
    #5, etc - who cares!?!

    #44 AJ Johnson

Houston trades Brooks + 2027 HOU FRP (top 5 protected) to ORL for Jonathan Isaac

Houston trades Landale + Tate to POR for Time Lord

Throw NT-MLE at Jalen Smith (4 years, $50M with TO on 4th year)

    FVV - Sheppard - AJJ
Thrilla - Amen - AJ Griffin
Isaac - Cam - Unc Jeff
Bari - Tari - Jalen Smith
Sengawd - Adams - Time Lord

That's a WC 2nd round competitor right thur. Team grows together + learns to compete (a la OKC & Boston)

    2025 - 2026 Ship Season
    Amen - Sheppard
    Thrilla - AJ Griffin
    Isaac - Cam
    Bari - Tari
Sengawd - Jalen Smith - Time Lord
Use FVV + Adams + Unc Jeff $$$ to re-sign Thrilla - Sengawd - Isaac
    2025 FRP is depth piece
