Top 5 might be a reach, but I realize he is a good defender... and he better be at that price. He gets $20M for the 14 points and $20M for 1 steal and 1 block per game. ;)

Yeah I wouldn't want to pay him $40M but I put him in the Jrue Holiday category of players who can be the final piece of a contending team. My whole point is to act like OG is going to get paid 30M+ because of his ppg and steals/blocks is completely unfair to his game.

I think the biggest question mark is Senguns 3pt shot more than anything regarding Jalen. Nobody's offering Sengun a max without a legit shot & no defense whatsoever. Post moves & flashy passing isn't going to cut it

No he didn't. Scottie Barnes got there after Kawhi Leonard left.

If the Ownership doesn't step up in resigning their players for a fair contract.

This Team is Rebuilding (Nets Picks) while trying to make the Playoffs.

Which is pretty funny because Sengun almost has a better three-point percentage than Jalen Green, our shooting guard.

    30% vs 33% :D:D:D

Can't remember Ime benching Alperen like he benched the hell out of Jalen Green last year, either. Maybe I am misremembering.

Sengun will get the max. I think they should do it now but they will likely wait till after the season. Jalen will go into RFA without a doubt. He has been way too up and down so far in his career to get the max now. He will have to earn it this coming year by proving he can be consistent.

On his current trajectory, easy money.

Probably will just let both go into rfa.

You don't want to create awkward situations like hypothetical of giving Sengun the max and Green not getting any extension and then Jalen outperforms him next season while being paid significantly less causing in house tension making it harder to retain these players long term if management decides they want them long term.

Sengun has consistently improved on film and statistically each season and was a borderline all-star who came close in voting, the only one on the team. You max him out, Jalen is very talented but still has to prove himself, if he can then reward him accordingly at the end of the season. Or based on the market value of his performance right now, it's fair and based on who earns it.

Yeah both definitely don't deserve the max right now, too many flaws. Sengun deserves it over Green though, but I wouldn't sign either.

    ONCE AGAIN

Clingan has a better shot at defending Wemby then Sengun........
Green has about two months maybe before he SHOULD be benched for Whitmore..............

Did Clingan drop 45 (That's 50 in new york) on Wemby?

Ideally if we can get a solid return then trade both and let another team worry about how much to pay them.

If they end up being here for long enough, I have a very strong feeling both will get the MAX. I would even loathe for one of them to get the max.

Sengun held him to 10 points (while also dumping 45 on his head). So Clingan's going to hold Wemby UNDER 10?

Sad Cornbread got this one wrong.

Man, it's funny seeing how Sengun broke Wemby's soul to the point the man didn't want to even go back into the game, and yet people still try to ignore it because it disrupt their agenda. It's hilarious seeing the mental gymnastics just because they don't like the aesthetics of Sengun's game.

Max isn't the same as it once was. Lots of guys getting the max these days who aren't superstars.

Definitely should wait on both and reevaluate after this year. Neither has done enough to prove they deserve it already, both could potentially deserve a max. We should definitely just wait and see.
