All of a sudden things look a lot better for the Stros. We are in good shape to make a nice mid season run before the Al Star break. Doesn't seem like the same team that was finding all sorts of different ways to lose. Got to keep it going. Fun to watch when we play like we did today.

I don’t know if this series is the “turning point” in the season. But if there is going to be one…. This certainly could be the one we look back at and point to when everything started to click. Handle business this week against sub-par Rockies and Mets teams and all of a sudden you’re looking at getting some reinforcements internally and possibly externally.
Abreu was dragging this team down, both with his performance and the awkwardness he was causing all over the org as a result of it, it's no coincidence the two best boons this team has had is while he was in Florida and after getting let go. It was criminal Loperfido got sent back down in the first place.
