Sort of agree but there is significantly more pressure on Green, Alperen has tons of teams chasing to get him. Alpe is already a big time asset and gem that rival teams covet, Green not there yet.
Instead of BI coming here... HOU - LAC - NOP LAC: Ingram (NOP) + Tate (HOU) + 2 2026s SRP (via HOU) Swap PG for Ingram basically. Also save $$$ to extend Beard. Pick up SRPs + Tate. Can decline TO on Tate for more cap $. NOP: Brooks (HOU) + Landale (HOU) + HOU 2025 FRP (top 3 protected) + HOU 2027 FRP (top 3 protected) Cut salary to keep key free agents - beside BI. Pick up future draft capital (probably in 20's). Landale can back up Nance at center. Brooks helps with perimeter defense + availability. HOU: George (LAC) Rox swap Brooks for PG at cost of 2025 FRP + 2027 FRP + SRPs. Take Sheppard at 3. AJJ at 44. Use NT-MLE (4 years, $40M) on Jalen Smith (Tari / Adams insurance). Use BAE on G/F/ wing with high 3% FVV - Sheppard - AJJ Thrilla - Amen - Hinton PG - Cam - BAE Bari - Tari - Uncle Jeff Sengawd - Adams - Jalen Smith Make 2nd round of playoffs. 2025 - 2026 Extend PG + Thrilla + Sengawd (cap goes up + FVV $$$ + Adams $$ + Uncle Jeff $) Amen - AJJ Thrilla - Sheppard PG - Cam Bari - Tari Sengawd - Jalen Smith 2025 pick Ship! 2026 - 2027 (trade PG for cap savings to pay Bari + Tari) Amen - AJJ Thrilla - Sheppard Cam - 2025 pick Bari - Tari Sengawd - Jalen Smith Repeat Champs
Should see if they take package of D.Brooks, Landale, Tate and picks. - But you know its a risk for any team because of Ingram exp contract. - Gets rockets Contract flexiblity with those 2 overpaid players. To be honest they might not get a better offer because of him being a 1 year rental possibly.
Trading Sengun is an easy way to elminate my interest in this franchise going forward. I don't think it happens but ohhhhhh man if it does...I'm out. How moronic can you be.
I think we are giving up way too much for PG at this point of his career, however, I love the creativity of your trade.
Conceptually, it's an interesting proposal, though Bari and Whitmore is a lot considering the fact that Ingram is the last year of his contract and is often hurt. However, FVV / Green / Ingram / Thompson / Sengun with Sheppard off the bench is pretty intriguing. The issue is you will have if you have to extend him along with Green and Sengun this offseason.
I mean I guess it's possible but the most; obvious flaw on the Lakers is " need 3+ off ball shooters at all times" and he's not that type
He has no value to teams trying to win. His only value would be to a team like detroit or washington. Rockets are past wanting someone like him, hard pass.
