So what's the purpose here? The only thing I can think of is it that Sengun can be had for something more, which means they must have really liked Clingan's workout. Trading Sengun and going with Clingan seems insane to me, but the front offices for Houston teams do insane things every decade or so. That said, Sengun has not performed well against Minnesota--in part because it's 2 against one and we, like many other teams, don't have the matchups to handle the other big they have. But trading Sengun based on regular season games against one particular team seems, well, insane. Add to that, if you trade him and go with Clingan, you still have the one on two problem with less offense.
what we really need is THIS dude 7-foot-9 Florida recruit is about to make college basketball history https://nypost.com/2024/06/20/sports/7-foot-9-olivier-rioux-set-to-make-college-basketball-history/
in the "who do you want for the 44th pick?" thread????? you gotta be kidding. let's-trade-Sengun threads . . . THAT'S where the action is
Only the Sengun obsessed haters can take a, "Rockets decline trade PROPOSAL from THE OTHER team" and turn it to: Sengun is gone. Forget that Ime compares him to Embiid for his ability to score and create open threes from the post, which Ime will never want to go away from. The team that gets Sengun would instantly get better. F/O knows this. He is about to turn 22.
it occurs to me that as the let's-trade-Sengun noise ramps up, it could be a premier opportunity for some summertime meme squad action
