Oh my. The shine is wearing off.

But dont tell me. Let me guess.
"These guys don't know what they're talking about".
    "These guys are idiots!"
"Reed Sheppard shot 50 something percent from the 3 with his foot!"
"Reed doesn't have short arms, he just has a long torso!"

    Starts at 24:11.

So some random guys say sth negative about Sheppard, it must be true. OTOH it doesn’t mean **** if a lot more experts have all good things to say about him. Okay.

Lol congratulations on finding a random to push false narratives you've for whatever reason attached yourself to.

    Couple of obvious red flags

    1. When someone talks about a player that measured 6'1.75 without shoes and chooses to round down to 6'1 when talking about them... they might not be the most intellectually honest.

    2. When someone labels a player a bad defender based entirely on their height... despite that player being a very good defender in college... they might not be the most informed.

At the intersection of uninformed and intellectually dishonest, you find people who say what you want them to say.

Congrats on being a sucker for engagement. Next week it’ll be a video on why Bronny is a lotto pick talent if they haven’t made that one already

Leif is very good (though his team is the Jazz). He has had good boards over the years. James is Rafael Barlowe’s brother, an up-and-coming scout. Far from some random guys as some of you pointed out.

Leif’s philosophy is always draft for upside (he has Dillingham at 1 in that regard). The point he wanted to make is that if you draft Reed to be an exclusive PG, he’s not top 5, even top 10. The path to be a better PG than other pure PG prospects is not clear and is team dependent. I don’t get why it’s not a fair take tbh. Bub in a vacuum IS a good point guard now even at age 18.

Every draft board should be understood in the context of the scout’s objective function and draft philosophy. They can be both correct and wrong.

It had nothing to do with the take. It was all about me posting it. It's a love/hate thing going on with me and some of the members here. They really hate that they love me so much.

Feels like we're in posturing season now. Atlanta "happy with keeping the 1st pick" and the Rockets "serious interest to take Reed Sheppard". Feels like both teams want to trade. Feels like the Rockets want Sarr and the Hawks want Clingan.

He is the BPA - it is no wonder that the Rox front office likes him, analytically he is off the charts.

I hope the Rox honor that and take him 3rd, he will not be a disappointment - the boy can really shoot.

Man, everything this guy just said about Reed , Ive been saying. He does not get his own shot, between 80% - 90% of the shots I saw him take he was wide open. Thats not going to happen in the NBA. Also, to be justified as a Top 10 pick, you will be looked upon as a lead player.....someone who can get their own shot and help others get their shots, not the other way around

And not just that, his size will definitely hinder him in the NBA. If I were the GM, he would not be in my Top 10.

However, I will live by whatever decision the Rockets make. Its Ime's decision and he knows better than I do.

DD, did one of these guys HACK your account?? Lol. You know this guy is not BPA

The same people last yr were all over Scoot Henderson are saying he's a bust. I wasn't on the Scoot Train last yr and Im not on the Reed Train this yr.

We have our PG of the future, in Amen. However, like I said if Ime signs off, Im on board.
