If it's a completely bombed out team with no one you need to consider, my top 10 to rebuild from nothing would be.

    1. Castle
    2. Holland
    3. Mattis
    4. Saar
    5. Topic
    6. Sheppard
    7. Dillingham
    8. Carrington
    9. Clingan
    10. Risacher

This would be considered mostly on guys that have some actual #1 option upside would be considered more heavily, thus why guys like Clingan / Risacher would be considered way lower.

Though most teams aren't actually bombed out with no fit consideration, and none of these guys are like "oh **** this guy might be a MVP I'm going to totally throw out any fit consideration."

For Rockets, my list is probably

    1. Sheppard
    2. Saar
    3. Castle
    4. Risacher

Well 4 guys for team that pick 3 is probably enough.

You have Clingan over Reed on your big board?

I thought this was meant to be a prediction of how the draft will shake out. Maybe I misunderstood.

If it's about my order of preference for whom the Rockets should draft, the list is:

    1) Reed
    2) Edey
    3) Risacher
    4) Castle
    5) Clingan

    My preference for Rockets:
    1. Risacher
    2. Castle
    3. Holland (trade down)
    4. Buzelis (trade down)
    5. Sheppard
    6. Cody Williams (trade down)
    7. Tidjane Salaun (trade down)
    8. Bigs (Sarr, Edey, Clingan) (trade down)

I think very highly of Risacher, legitimate 19 yrs old playing in a professional league in Europe vs grown men, he is very advanced for his age. He also shot 56% from 3 for 17 games in the Eurocup so the potential is def there. The floor is high as well being a 6'9 athletic defender with high bball IQ. Theres a reason SAS wants to trade up for him.

Castle has one of the highest ceilings in the draft. Already 6'5.5 with 6'9 wingspan he is basically Tari Eason height and will wreck havoc at positions 1-3. And he is only 19, maybe just like JG or Sengun he still grows an inch or 2. Shooting was his major weakness but he shot well in the draft combine so I guess shooting is the only thing he has been doing since the season ended. Billed as the best point of attack defender in the draft class, he has that dawg in him and was the driver to that championship. Reminds me a lot of WB but hopefully he has more brains.

Holland and Buzelis are project players but also in the top 10 of most big boards of people I've seen on youtube. They are an investment that is expected to pay off in the next 3 yrs. Worst case you get an Ariza or Jaden Mcdaniels and thats not bad.

Reed Sheppard, everyone says he is the next Steph Curry with Zion athleticism but I dunno. I think he will just be a slightly better Aaron Holiday and worse than Jrue Holiday. But maybe I'm already biased against him also after everyone started boosting him to hell and back. I guess we will see. I did see his picture standing next to DMitchell and he looked really small with short arms. But he is also only 19 with bball parents maybe he grows some more.

    1) Dalton Knecht
    2) Devin Carter
    3) Kel'el Ware
    4) Zach Edey

The rest can play in the G-league for a year or two

Dalton Knecht: can create his own shot in isolation and use screens as well
to get his shot off. Uses backboard well, finds the angle to make the shot.
If I can create a shot for Knecht using Horns play, weave, PnR, Curls off screen,
Elevator doors, off pin downs, can slash to rim, i know Udoka can get creative.
Rockets defense is good enough to assist defensively to help a player like this
that can generate offense in so many ways.

Devin Carter: Rockets losing Aaron Holiday and Devin Carter at 6'2" and long wingspan
can fill the void. Will be able to defend 1 through 3 positions, moves his feet defensively
tracks the half court well (head on a swivel defensively), times jumping the passing lanes
well, provides help defense well when required. Offensively he runs the offense off
PnR well enough to initiate set, will get you 4 or 5 assists like Jrue Holiday does.
Shot many of his 3's in college over 25 feet (pro range). Age ready, skill set ready
to contribute with our young players day one.

Kel'el Ware: will bring much of what Dereck Lively brings to the Mavericks.
Better 3-point shooter than Lively, that will need to work on "out working"
the bigger players (shrank during some games vs bigger players; but
can be taught to use his leaping ability and run speed to take advantage
in rim runs and other aspects of the game), increase endurance as he
did from year one in college to year two. Would be drafted top 5 player
if he hustled more......Udoka will bring it out of him and Sengun, Jabari,
Tari, Cam Whitmore, ?Steven Adams? and Amen will help lessen his burden.
    Free him to run.

Zach Edey: already polished product, huge 7'4" bulky frame that demands
double and triple teams in the post. Sees over the top to make passes
to slashers or kick out. Automatic matchup nightmare to switching
defenses, can hit open 3's, hook shots turning right or left up to
10 feet, uses backboard well, ran 3/4 court, shuttle, cones faster
than Clingan. Played for team Canada with Dillon Brooks,
Schroeder, ?Wiggins?, which was undefeated for a good stretch.
Defensively can play Drop Coverage as well if not better than
Clingan......Jokic, Gobert, Embiid, Sengun, Brook Lopez often
play Drop Coverage defensively to stay in the league.
Teams like Lakers, Golden State, Miami, Raptors, Knicks
and others claim they want him. Because they know he can
be a force in the post, Dunker Spot, and apparently hit
the open three if team allows (Purdue rarely put Edey
    in that position).

    Reed Sheppard - 52% from 3
    Dalton Knecht - 40% from 3 (All-American)
    Jared McCain - 41% from 3
    Rob Dillingham - 44% from 3
    Tristan Da Silva - 40% from 3
    DaRon Holmes - 39% from 3 (All-American)
    Kyshawn George - 41% from 3
    Cam Spencer - 44% from 3 (4 years of +40% from 3)

I refuse to consider anyone that can't shoot. I'm so sick of not having any damn shooters.

My list. Not solidly set on the order. I like Clingan as a prospect, but hope he goes before Rockets draft as would like a better fit in bpa.

    Edit
I'd probably flip a coin between Risacher and Sarr If both if them were there at 3.

For the Rockets, my board would look like this:

    1. Sarr
    2. Risacher
    3. Sheppard
    4. Carter (yes, I'm reaching, I don't care--this draft sucks and is flat as hell)
    5. Knecht
    6. Castle
    7. Clingan

after 7 I don't care too much, I doubt we trade back to the point where none of these guys are available

Mostly like this list. I'm higher on Matas. Maybe it is too much wishful thinking, but he only needs to be able to improve open shooting to really help a team as a 4th, 5th option and think his defense would fit Sengun well at the 4.

Not a fan of Ware. Comes off as a very individualistic player that I think may have issues fitting in with a team. Stats seem fine.
