If he's there the Rockets will regret not selecting Bona at 44. If they go guard at 3 then you have to think they look at a back up 5 at 44. Bona or Chomche.

    100% Bona!

I would even add a future 2nd to move up and get him. He's going to be a beast in a few. I'm surprised they have not brought him in.

Bona is not going to be there at 44. Looks like he's improved his ball handling and actually has a really nice stroke. Has worked out for Portland who has two picks near the top of the 2nd and Utah who has the 29th pick.

Like Dream, he played soccer. Did not start playing BB until his mid teens when he moved from Nigeria to Turkey where he played with Alp. Was very raw, but progressed quickly. Enough so, that he was offered a full scholarship to UCLA. Where all he did was...

Pac-12 Freshman of the Year (2023)
    Pac-12 All-Freshman Team (2023)
Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year (2024)
    2× Pac-12 All-Defensive Team (2023, 2024)
    First-team All-Pac-12 (2024)

That was without much of an offensive game besides dunks, lobs, putbacks and some close to the basket glass work.

This kid is going to be a stud one day. They need to get him in for a workout sooner rather than later. If he has developed his shot and improved his handles, he might be worth trading a future 1st to move end to the 1st and grab him.

    6'8
    7'4 Wingspan
    40" Vertical
    AND already @ a lean 243!
